Hanes Mens Essentials Jersey Sweatpants Cotton Lounge Pants with Pockets for Men

I got several pairs of these pants for my dad. He had been in the hospital due to blood pressure issues and now he is in rehab to get his strength again. I think these would be good if you have a Senior parent that just needs something to lounge in or something a little easier to put on and off. My dad is 95 years old and that is why I stated what I did. I got this color which I would say is a soft grey, blue, black and the heather color. Dad likes the pockets on them and he said they are comfortable and easy to get on and off. The draw string is a big help because he has lost some weight and they can be pulled tighter if he wants them to be. I think the price was good compare to some I have been looking at. They are just want he needs for when he goes to physical therapy and after he gets home he can just lounge in them. He said he is really pleased with them. The quality is made good. These pants are perfect for lounging. I purchased over 8 pairs for a friend who needed time in a rehabilitation center after a hospital stay. The material is soft, lightweight, yet durable. They wash very well with little shrinkage. The adjustable draw-string waist makes them especially nice, so one can tighten or loosen the waist as needed. No tight banding at the ankle was a huge request by my friend. And the side pockets make it easy to slip in a cell phone or hankies. The best part of the pants is the price...$8.99 for a pair of light steel or charcoal heather colored lounge pants. The navy and black colored lounge pants are more expensive, but the grey colors worked fine for my friend. If you need to purchase a large quantity of lounge pants for someone going into a rehabilitation or an assisted living facility, these lounge pants will save you a lot of money without sacrificing quality. Very comfortable material. These pants seem to run a bit large in the waist and short in the leg. Which makes sizing a challenge if you are tall and slender. The drawstring isn’t too effective because the waistband is quite sturdy and resistant to being pulled very tight. Although the waistband does stretch pretty well. The pockets are nice and deep too. Super comfortable for around the house. I'm 6' 200lbs, and I ordered the Large, they fit great, legs touch the ground a little bit, but I like the longer legs, and the loose fit. These sweatpants are okay overall. They’re comfortable enough for lounging around the house or running quick errands, and the material feels fairly soft. The fit was decent, but not exactly what I expected, and they’re a little thinner than I hoped. They do the job, but I wouldn’t say they’re my favorite pair. (Review of: Hanes Essentials Sweatpants, Men’s Cotton Jersey Pants with Pockets, 33”, Black, Large) I put a lot of thought into buying some comfy pants/sweats, lounge ware, & have looked for several months. I have been looking a long time for 100% Cotton, AFFORDABLE, Thin, Breathable, Sweat pants. I seem to be allergic to polyester & most other current sweat pants for sale are made of polyester. Burns my skin after a short while & Expensive! I'm older, disabled and spent a lot of my time laying down and I need comfy pants. I purchased 2 pairs of Black. They came yesterday and I put them both on for fit & to see if they were identical. I am 215 Pounds, 6 ft tall. I ordered Large. They are an inch too long for me but will shrink in length (according to feedbacks). They are slightly baggy, again shrinkage from washing will tighten up the bagginess. They are a little, (just a little) stiff & rough because I have not washed them yet. Then they should fluff & puff & get softer, (again according to feedbacks). I plan to wash them in Cold Water, Dry only till VERY damp & then I will hang them by the cuffs, pant leg bottoms with a double clip on a hanger to finish drying, using gravity to keep the length & control over shrinkage. NO BLEACH! Cotton takes a little care but is superior,(for me). I liked the 2 new pairs of Hanes 100% Cotton sweat pants I just received. So I just ordered 3 more, in other colors. The only negative I see is the butt area is a little tight at 1st. Wearing, washing & stretch the Cotton to fit your body. The pants seem to be well made.
