Some time ago I bought a 3-Pack of Hanes 100% cotton Crewneck Tees, with a pocket for my husband. He couldn't be more pleased at how soft they are but also how well they wash and endure many, many washings. Also my husband especially wanted the pocket on the shirt, which we was hard to find (not the shirt, but a tee shirt with a pocket). I needed some oversize shirts, oddly hard to find anymore, so specifically looked for hanes brand. Be warned, these shirts shrink. Ok, ultimately that is pretty much on me, because growing up, that was the norm, but I don't think I have purchased a shirt that shrunk in 20 years. Well once, but I didn't do it, it very clearly said to hand wash, and my roommate decided to help. But neither here nor there. 1 wash, on cold, zero heat used, and this shirt shrunk a full size. so now no longer over sized, therefore useless. I took too long to do the project, so couldn't return, so now there are some nice new t shirts in the thrift store bin. now, you might think, yeah, but you aren't using them as intended, as an undershirt. You would be correct. However, if you purchasing these thinking the size is correct for an undershirt, well, when it shrinks, and you now have a half crop belly shirt...you might be unhappy, so, it is Hanes quality, shirt is nice, but if you are expecting it to be your size and stay there after a wash, that is when the warning comes in.
