These are great leak panties. I wouldn’t trust them with a full flow period, but they are great for pregnancy discharge and to catch anything that leaks from your pad during postpartum. After months of use, I can only recall one time that I felt like I leaked through these. They are high quality, comfortable, and have some stretch. The under the belly fit is comfortable. I wouldn’t say that they are particularly breathable, but I wouldn’t expect that from this type of underwear. The mauve color is cute and the black is versatile. I don’t feel comfortable posting a photo, but the quality seems just as good as when I first got them after months of use. I wash them and dry them as I would anything else (because let’s be real, I don’t have time for needy laundry). The only underwear my wife will wear in her 3rd trimester everything else is too snug or too high/low. These are just right. They are also a bit absorbent for small leaks. I'll be buying more for sure. Read more

The Hanes maternity light leak hipsters fit well and are true to size. The cut is fine too. They are not too high or low and everything seems covered well without getting a wedged. But I generally did not find them very comfortable. They were a bit stiff at first and for me personally the padding was just too thick. I also felt really hot in these, so I am not sure if that’s just me or if it’s the material that makes me hot. I wore these on a rode trip for probably a longer time than recommended and just felt icky overall. They are supposed to be washed in cold water and that for me personally is a no go. A plus: I washed them hot and dried them and I didn’t see any changes to the shape so the quality for sure is good. But I generally prefer cotton undies and a panty liner that I can change if I am traveling for longer periods at a time. So maybe for shorter time periods they work better. Read more

Perfectly shaped front waist - dips down the perfect amount. The padding is not bulky and maybe the most comfortable I’ve felt sitting down ever. I absolutely love these underwear. I wondered why someone would ever need maternity underwear, and then I tried these. They are extremely comfortable. The stretch in them is limited, but since they go under the bump that is not an issue to me. They fit true to size, but more coverage than I like, and really only look ok under a thicker material like a jean. This isn't an issue to me though, as I am choosing them for function over style. Speaking of function, through my pregnancy I have definitely had more leaking than normal, and these do an excellent job of catching any additional drips of any type, and the best thing is they really help eliminate any smells that comes along with the leaking. I can see these lasting a long time, even though I really only need them for this short period in life. Though I truly appreciate a product made with such high quality. This is the second pack of Hanes underwear I have received recently, and they do not disappoint in quality or comfort. The biggest downside is they are objectively ugly underwear. Since the built in pad is so large in the back it gives diaper, but thinner. While my husband understands them, he is no where near finding them sexy. Lol. Read more

These underwear work well just like the period panties of the same brand. They are less uncomfortable and more versatile than those. I like the cut and the fit of these but the low cut front is very low. This was not a deal breaker but under the belly is definitely way under the belly. Overall, they are nice looking, discreet, and function as they should. Read more
