PRACTICAL TOY

I like this Hank & Harley Dog Toy Treat Ball This ball stimulates your pet and promotes activity and play. It is durable and SAFE non toxic and PBA free. It is pretty tough and dispenses small treats and stick-like treats. The ball dispenser can be used as training tool as well--through reinforcement or drive stimulation. My dog enjoys it and the size is good for him. He weighs about 25 pounds and the ball is too big to get lodged in his throat. My laying hens liked it too, so I will have to get them one. I hoped I helped you make your decision today. Happy playing and laughing. Read more

Nice toy. Not chew-proof, but tough

The media could not be loaded. My dog is a chewer; if it can be destroyed, he will destroy it. In this case, he made short work if the rope. It was sheared off within two minutes. I gave him the toy, took out the trash, came in and the rope was separated from the pear. He does that to all the cotton/hemp ropes on dog toys. I should know better than to keep trying. I do like the pear shape of this toy, and it was only available with the rope. The shape has four grooves with teeth that hold treats. It holds two to three small treats per groove. When the treats were finished, my dog began chewing the bumps off the pear. Those sides no longer hold that third treat. This toy held up about as well as the red kong material. Maybe a little better, performing between the red and the black kong. That’s pretty good. I may have to give this sparingly for it to survive teething. It’s a nice little dog ball. With the rope removed, it works to help hold a bully stick- silver lining. Has a neutral odor; made of safe material. Read more

good treat dispenser

The Hank & Harley Dog Toy Treat Ball works well for dispensing treats because you have so many options for the types of treats you can use. The first photo, which makes the treat ball look like a Halloween toy, shows the treat ball with turkey tendon treats sticking out of it. The other two photos show my 45-lb. border collie mix making short work of the treats. I tried using the Hank & Harley Dog Toy Treat Ball as a ball for her to fetch (without any treats), but she wasn't interested, likely because it doesn't squeak. The treat ball does seem indestructible, although she wasn't interested in chewing it once the treats were gone. In the future, I'm going to try using treats that are more difficult to get out of the Hank & Harley Dog Toy Treat Ball. I'd say this treat ball is a keeper. Read more

Great toy for playing fetch and/or stimulating your doggos mind

The media could not be loaded. My dog and I are big fans of this chew toy, it's like a rope with a bulb type chew toy at the end so you can swing it and launch it high in the air while your dog goes deep down to the end zone to catch the winning touchdown! Whoooo! Seriously though, this toy is a good deal, so far it's gotten a good amount of use out of it and it has not tore or ripped anywhere thus far. I have a Great Pyrenees mix as you see in the pics/video so she's by no means a small dog and this toy is holding up very well. Also, a really cool feature with this is the bulb end of it has cuts/grooves around it with tiny pyramid type deals to not only help clean their teeth but you can spread apart the grooves and stick treats in there, show them, launch the toy and watch the dog chase that toy down faster than Forest Gump can run! Great for my small dog

My mini poodle puppy is enjoying this ball. He can get the treats out but not too quickly. we've only had it for a short time so I cant comment on longevity but so far, so good. Read more

Nice idea, very flexible on types of treats you can use with this

I really like this treat toy for the pure reason that it's capable of being used with many types of treats. You can insert stick-like treats down the center, smaller treats in the nooks and crannies (the paw prints) so it's pretty flexible. You could also insert treats that are large enough for the holes on top but too small to escape from the bone openings and keep your pup busy for a decent amount of time. Plus, it's got a nice bounce to it so it can be used for fetch pretty easily. Nice toy. Read more

Works better as a ball

I tried putting kibble inside the ball and plugging up the holes with dried liver treats, so the kibble wouldn't fall out. All that happened was my dog pushed the liver treats further in, and the kibble fell out. But then he was going nuts trying to get the treats out. Which occupied him for a long time, but when he got to the point where he started throwing up, I took the ball away from him and I tried to get the treats out for him and it was freaking impossible because the holes were too small. I finally got those treats out, so I thought I'd try the other, larger holes with two different stick-type treats. Both of which fell right through, because the holes were too big. For us, I think this is going to work better as a ball, because it travels in unexpected directions when it bounces, because of the holes. But as a treat ball, it didn't work. I didn't even try the shallow holes, because they were so shallow, the only thing I could think of to put in them is peanut butter, or a soft-type treat that you can smash in there, but I didn't have any on hand.
