I have used this suitcase on 4 or 5 trips in the last 6 months. It has no wear or issues. this is very sturdy, four way roller. It is very small and compact, and is compatible for all airlines to bring on the plane. It comes with a lot of storage — it is not detachable, so be warned. I cut out one of the storage sleeves and kept one, so I could use more of the space inside. You can do the same with no issue, or keep and use both built-in storage panels. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a tiny roller, you will never be made to check it — it is also IDEAL if you travel with anything fragile/delicate. I have traveled with very delicate/valuable things inside it because it is a) a hard-sided suitcase and b) small enough it never has to be checked. Perfect for my intended use! Got tired of carrying my skates in a duffle bag where I couldn’t find anything and the back of my skate blades would bruise my legs. This is the perfect solution. Fits everything I need for practice and off ice training. The wheels are super smooth and quiet. Rolls easy and it’s light weight even with my skates and ankle weights in there. I love that it locks too. This makes it ideal for out of town travel and competition where I might leave my things momentarily unsupervised. Programming the lock was easy. There’s still room in there for another pair or leg warmers or my jacket. The case is heavy duty too, I bumped it on my car door and there was no damage. I am a committed carry-on only traveler. Since airlines seem to be reducing the allowable size I figured it was time to save myself some worry and downsize my bag. After considerable research I ended up with this bag by Hanke. I've used it several times with no issue. It holds everything I need for a weeks vacation, is very easy to maneuver, and I can easily get it in an overhead bin. This is my first piece of hardsided luggage and I like the ability to lay it flat and separate my items as I see fit. I gave it 4 stars because the design could be improved on - it seems a bit flimsy and I'm not confident it will stand up to frequent use. Easier to grasp handles would be nice for lifting the luggage. That said, I am quite pleased with it for the price I paid especially since I no longer worry about my bag being flagged as too large. I bought this for 2 trips, one domestic and one international. I just returned from the domestic flight and this case worked very well. It was easy to maneuver, the telescopic handle felt rigid enough and it was nice and light. What surprised me the most was the room inside. I thought that it would be a little tight but I had room to spare. My next trip is international and that will be a tougher workout for this but so far it has passed with flying colors. I will add more when I get back. Update Just got back from 2 weeks in Italy. This carry on went through the streets of Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento and passed with flying colors. I had no problem with the airlines and the wheels took the old streets and sidewalks without a problem. I noticed a couple of reviews mentioned zipper problems but I didn't have any. Great compact small suitcase. Easy to lift into the overhead bins in the plane. Wheels roll smoothly. Small bag fits comfortably on top of case.
