I was very pleasantly surprised with the comfort of these underwear. They are indeed silky soft and comfortable- no binding or bunching. I do question why they are labeled "midrise" as they are definitely high waisted. I wear high waist pants and have to consider just how high they are before I put on these underwear. As such, I prefer to wear them under dresses or when I tuck in a shirt. I would also like to be clear that there is ZERO compression. I know the description doesn't contain any reference to shaping, but the style could make one assume it might have that quality- it does not. Seamless- the main portion of the panty (including gusset) is seamless, however, the leg binding is sewn and not raw or bonded as you would normally find on other "seamless" underwear. That being said, it is very stretchy and I don't find it to be at all uncomfortable or even noticeable. The main reason I give this 4 stars is because nearly $40 per panty is insane. But if that's in your budget, these are pretty nice. That and the fact they are hand wash. I wash them on cold and hang to dry (I actually once accidentally dried them on low and they still seem to be fine). I'm not sure what is going on with the sizing, but just order your usual size based on the first one listed. Read more

Okay so I admit I didn't know hanky panky was a known brand name. I do see how they earned their following, because these are indeed the most comfortable thongs I've ever worn. There's a bit of tummy control action going on since the waist is very wide and very comfortable. No muffin top here! However, as a 5'2" 127 lbs. athletic build (runner and strength trainer), they did still roll down on me when doing deadlifts. Not sure why since when standing, this material clings to you like butter. For thongs, they are a very thoughtful design. I'm just not the type of person to spend this much on underwear, but if you are then these are definitely the thongs for you! Read more

What is this sorcery? These are the best thongs I have ever worn! For the longest, I thought my skims were amazing. Then, I tried Amazon Aware’s thongs and loved them a bit more. Now that I have these, I’m not sure there’s any going back. I honestly don’t even like wearing thongs and I find myself looking for them.
