Fabulous! I just received this dress today after trying 4 other dresses! I was looking for a comfortable, flattering, and nice looking dress for my upcoming 50 year high school reunion. Of course, I'm not the skinny little hardbody I was in 1975, so I needed one that helps 'conceal.' This dress did the trick and the fabric is nice and thick, not 'T-shirt' fabric like so many others! I wore this to church yesterday and my husband said I was beautiful. It’s a nice dress and a good deal even at full price. I’m 5’5” 170 lbs and got a 16w. I should have gotten a 14, but the 16 worked with a clip in the back to tighten the waist. I would say this dress sizing is a bit on the large size. By measurements 16 was right, but 14 probably would have fit better. The fabric is a medium weight polyester with a 4 way stretch. It drapes and moves nicely. It doesn’t wrinkle much. I don’t intend to iron it. The seams and finish are well constructed. It has a concealed zipper down the back to mid-hip level. The skirt hit just under my kneecap. There is one slit in the skirt front under the ruffle. It came to about 2 inches over my kneecap, but the ruffle hid my leg even when sitting down. Because the slit is in the ruffle, it would be super easy to hand stitch it closed to whatever length you need. The skirt is short enough that I definitely needed to squat at my knees like a lady rather than bend over from my hips to reach something on the ground or talk to a small child. The dress was super comfortable and flattering. The drape over the waist helped hide my tummy (5 babies and too many tacos.). I would recommend this dress. I got the peacock blue (deep teal) and the color was very accurately shown on my computer monitor. I would buy this dress again. As for versatility, it’s a good dress for church, weddings, or slightly dressy occasions. It would work well for travel as well since wrinkles fall out of it. Read more
