Initial thoughts

I haven't used these for very long (I just put them in a few hours ago). My initial thoughts are that these bulbs are better than the previous g9 LED bulbs that I have purchased because they are shorter. Many g9 LED bulbs are longer than the halogen type bulbs and they don't fit in some fixtures. These g9 LED bulbs are very close in length to standard halogen g9 bulbs and fit into the schonbek fixture that I was previously using halogens in (a fixture which did not fit the longer style g9 LED bulbs). I hope these bulbs run more efficiently and I assume they will be far cooler than the halogens which run red HOT. The main reason I bought these bulbs is that they are the 1.77 inches in length and they fit in fixtures that only accomodate g9 bulbs that are short. Read more
