This really brings and upscale look to the A7CR while also improving the ergonomics of the camera. While shooting horizontally isn't changed, what really shines with this handle is allowing you to shoot vertically much easier thanks to the larger grip. This is my second or third product from this company, but the first grip for my A7CR body, and I'm as impressed as always. I thought it looked like there was a gap between the grip and the camera in the photos, but it fits perfectly. The arca swiss compatible base plate is also a nice feature, and the grip itself is super comfortable in the hand. One thing to note, though, is that this is more of a grip than it is an extension on the camera body. Meaning, whereas the Sony branded one that comes with the camera extends on the bottom to make it so that your pinky/ring finger (depending on hand size) no longer dangle under the camera, this one makes the grip itself more comfortable but your lower fingers will still hang under unless you adjust them. I thought that there was going to potentially be a way to double stack them, but it feels odd so maybe not. Overall, though, this is great quality and is very comfortable and personally I'd rather have the grip more comfortable (like this one does) than the one that makes the body more of a full size body feel as it defeats the purpose of having a smaller body in my opinion. If I wanted a bigger body I'll bring my bigger sony bodies instead. Excellent grip, though. Get it. You'll like it. Read more
