It’s a great yoga towel for my yoga mat. It has plenty of silicone dots that help keep the towel firmly in place on the mat. I’ve tried several towels, and I found this one works much better at preventing slipping. The price is reasonable, and it’s a solid option for daily hot yoga. Read more
Does exactly what I need it to do for hot yoga. No sliding, handles sweat well, and easy to clean. I’m happy with it. Read more
I got this for my wife to upgrade her home barre class setup, and it has made a massive difference over the past week. Previously, she was using basic beach towels, but they were a disaster—they never stayed in place, leaving the mat exposed to sweat and, worse, causing her to slip during difficult moves. She eventually stopped using a towel altogether because it was more of a hassle than a help. This towel, however, fits the bill perfectly. Why we love it: The "Kick Test" Approved: My wife is a Physical Therapist and is very strict about safety. She checks all throw rugs with what she calls the "kick test"—if it kicks up, pick it up (because it’s a trip hazard). This towel grips the mat fiercely and does not kick up or bunch. It stays exactly where you put it. Perfect Fit: It is the exact measurement of her standard yoga mat, so there is no awkward bunching at the corners or exposed rubber. Safety & Hygiene: Now she has a stable surface that absorbs sweat without sliding around, keeping her mat clean and her footing secure. If you are looking for a towel that actually functions as a piece of safety gear rather than just a sweat rag, this is the one to get. Highly recommended! Read more

If you partake in hot yoga or another form that gets you fairly sweaty, having a towel over your mat can be a plus. It makes clean-up a bit easier and its much easier to place a towel in the wash than cleaning and drying your yoga mat. This yoga towel has lots of grip. Lots! Once I laid it down on my hardwood floor, it did not budge at all. You can comfortably move around on this mat without expecting it to slide on you. However, the issue I have is that the top side barely has any traction, so you’ll want to be careful. With that in mind, I’m a little torn about the actual use case for this. To have a drier mat, I’d have to sacrifice the grip I gain from standing directly on the mat. I will say, if you are simply covering your yoga mat with a traditional bath towel, this is probably 10x better. Comes with a carrying bag, which is convenient. Read more
I got the 2 pack of the pink Hot Yoga Towels. I've never used an a towel on my yoga mat, but now that I'm living in a warm climate I decided to give them a try. Several things I noticed right away: - It's more comfortable with this towel on the mat compared to the mat alone. - The little round sticky grippers on these towels do a great job of gripping. - If you're like me you'll still want to use a mat under these, even though I did try just the towel by itself... but no. It's a towel, not a mat. - I get the feeling that my mat will last longer by using these towels. The mats are 2'x6' which I guess is a standard size mat although I wish it was a bit wider, and longer. They come with a carrying bag also which is nice. RECOMMENDED Read more
This is a nice set of yoga towels. And I'm glad it came in a two-pack. Not only do you get more for your money, but you can use them for different purposes. I have one for me to use with my yoga mats, and I'm using the second for my sick dog. She insists on laying on hard floors. But being winter, they're too cold for her. And she also struggles to get up from slippery floors these days. So this gives her a layer of warmth over the cold tiles she usually lays on, but it also has a bit of grip underneath that makes it easier for her to get up and down. For yoga use, these should be fine for standard size yoga mats. I tend to use oversized ones, and this is still good for those as long as I keep the towel centered. It does a good job of keeping my mat cleaner, which is the main reason to use it. The towels seem well-made, and they should be easy to clean. They're also lightweight enough to easily pack with your mat if you do yoga away from home. Read more
This is the second Hapbear yoga product I've had a crack at. First was a set of yoga blocks (and various extras) that I was impressed with, and I feel the same with these non-slip towels. Went in with an expectation that they'd be serviceable for the intended purpose and ended up impressed with how much better they are than they needed to be. These are very nice towels, AND very nice non-slip cloths, to the point that you could use them for other things where you needed one or the other (or both.) Strong construction, nice flex and finish, really instills a sense of "it didn't really need to be this good." The one thing you might need to be aware of is that these are indeed towels more than pads, so if you're doing yoga on a hard surface it's still going to feel like a hard surface. These are advertised as towels so they're not missing anything they should have, but you might still like a yoga mat underneath for comfort. Read more
