This mat would be great for doing yoga or Pilates, not for a more intense workout. It is not very thick or squishy, but the fabric on the top is very soft and plush feeling, feels just like suede. The pattern is crisp and well printed and attractive. The colors are slightly prettier in person compared to what it looks like on the product images. I am concerned that overtime the different layers of the mat will begin to separate, especially at the corners and edges, especially considering the high price. I'm also worried that the mat may get s smelly overtime because it is a fabric top and if you were sweating on it you cannot easily wipe it down with a disinfecting wipe. Read more

This yoga mat lives up to it's claims, it is large! You can see how long it is when I hold it next to me, and I am 5'4". It really is big. The thickness of the foam is just right, not too thick that it's hard to balance, and not too thin that your knees hurt when doing kneeling poses. It is very lightweight as a whole, which is great for transport, but a little tricky to get it to lie completely flat since it's so light. I'm sure it will smooth out over time. The suede-like surface is nice to add traction, while still being soft. It feels good against the skin and soaks up sweat easily. The stretchability is wonderful, since you have so much room to move around on the larger surface. The quality overall is excellent. Lightweight for transport, nice and large, soft, sweat-wicking, and just enough padding to provide comfort while still being stable. One thing to note: you will probably need to buy a separate yoga mat strap to roll this up with and carry it with, because it comes with this giant bag you're supposed to slip it into, but it's impossible, at least for me, to roll it tight enough to get it back into this bag. So plan to leave it open in your room, or get a different strap to carry it with. Read more

I recently started using the HAPBEAR Large Yoga Mat (72×36″) and it’s quickly become my go-to mat for yoga, Pilates, and general workouts — here’s why I’m impressed: Big and comfortable: The 72×36″ size gives plenty of room, which is awesome whether I’m stretching out in yoga poses or doing floor exercises. No more worrying about feet hanging off the edge! Nice cushioned support: The 1/4″ thickness strikes a perfect balance — it’s soft enough to protect knees and joints, but still stable for balance work. I can flow through a sequence without feeling like I’m on a hard floor. Premium feel: The suede-like surface feels smooth and comfortable underfoot, and it doesn’t irritate my palms during downward dog or plank holds. Non-slip performance: Even when I start to sweat, this mat grips really well. I can focus on my workout without slipping or shifting. Versatile use: I use it for yoga, Pilates, stretching routines, and even some core workouts — it’s versatile enough for any floor-based exercise. If you want a roomy, comfortable, and reliable workout mat — whether for yoga, home workouts, or gym sessions — this HAPBEAR mat is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! 🧘♀️✨ Read more
I've been using this yoga mat on our hardwood bedroom floor since the carpeted room that I usually do Pilates and stretching is being occupied by guests for the holidays. I am very pleased with the space it provides - quite large! The padding is very good and makes sitting, lying, and moving about on the hardwood under it comfortable enough to complete my whole usual routine, which I'm very happy with. I have not found it to move about or slide under me regardless of position or movement, nor have I slipped on it either in bare feet or in socks. I think this is a fantastic mat for those reasons! However, it's rather expensive. I think for that price, there should be even a little more cushion, and a cleaner cut around the edges - a product that feels luxurious and "super nice" rather than just a large version of a very nice yoga mat (which it definitely is!). That's the only reason I wouldn't give it a full 5 stars. For that price, I'm going to have pretty high expectations. Read more

Measuring 72"x36", it provides ample space, making it perfect for yoga, Pilates, and other gym workouts. At 1/4" thick, the mat offers cushioned support that feels great during long sessions. I'm still trying to decide how I feel about this yoga mat. First off, it looks good. The colors are pretty, and the extra width is great. I like the way the surface feels - it's a suede-like surface, which you might think would be slippery, but it's not. I don't find myself slipping at all, and it's super comfy. Here's what I'm not sure about. The mat has no weight to it, so it doesn't lie flat. I'm not kidding when I say it's super light. The ends tend to roll under as well because there is nothing weighty to hold them down. I'm pretty concerned about the mat's stability and may end up using it more for stretching than actual yoga.
