Is it worth buying? Yes provided you understand the following Cons. First off, I don't think the item I received was brand new. I bought the skirt in Black, which came vacuum sealed.. The waistband is very small.. I had to pull mine up hi or I would have to wear it underneath my belly to make that waistband work. This made the skirt look like a tent. Pros The skirt is actually is a much higher quality construction than I expected; it has very nice and the fabric bowl polyester does look like it could be a nice tweed, but not a super expensive one. It’s listed as a fall/winter skirt so I expected a thicker quality but it’s fairly thin so keep that in mind based on how fall and winter weather looks for your location. I had planned to wear it with lined tights anyway but the skirt itself isn’t going to add any extra warmth. I’d also recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes, the back is elastic but the front is not and can be fairly tight/uncomfortable. If you can get a good fit, it looks really cute. The pockets are always an added bonus. I’m 5’ 3” and it falls right below my knees which is right below my knees. I prefer this so it’s perfect for me. Read more

Now that I'm back in the office working fulltime, I've been picking up versatile pieces here and there. And while this skirt has a lot to like, there are a couple drawbacks. First, the skirt came incredibly wrinkled. I know it was shrink wrapped for delivery, but it makes me think the material is going to wrinkle. Second, although I generally like the fit of A-line skirts, this piece has almost too much volume. I am 5'10" and around 150 lbs., and the amount of material at the waist made me look a lot bulkier than I really am. It's too bad, because I love the style.
