The last time I purchased a pair of these pants was almost 6 years ago, and the old pair is still going strong; I just wanted another pair to throw into rotation. I originally purchased these for yoga, but they quickly became my go-to travel pants as they are versatile and easy to dress up or down. I've recently started wearing them more often as everyday pants for lounging, errands, etc. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the fit is flattering. I love that they are a little thicker than cheap yoga pants, and the cotton blend is perfect-- they are stretchy and keep their shape through multiple wears, but don't have the synthetic feel or shiny appearance of tech fabrics. The inseam on the new pair is true to the description (33" on the size L), which is a little more than 2" shorter than my old pair of 330 pants. I'm about 5'10" and the 33" inseam is perfect for me. If you have never ordered Hard Tail pants before and are between sizes, I would recommend sizing up as I find they run smaller than most brands. I typically wear a size M (or 6-8 in numbered sizes) in other brands, but the size L Hard Tail pants fit me perfectly. If you're wondering how this style compares to the style #590 Hard Tail pant, they are almost identical. I decided to order both to compare, and found that the only difference is that the rolldown portion at the top of the 590 pant is about an inch longer than the rolldown top of the 330 pant. In the photos, the 330 pant is shown on top of the 590. Other than the length of the rolldown portion, the fabric, cut, and inseam are identical on the 2 styles. Read more

I love how comfortable these pants are. They are pretty long when you first get them. I’m 5’3”, and I have to roll them up a couple times so they don’t drag. They shrink if you put them in the dryer, but they also fade dramatically and turn gray. That’s why I gave four stars instead of five. But, overall, I love them. Read more

I have had around 6 or 7 pairs of the Hard Tail roll down pants over the years and these are the tightest. I always get size Small. If I didn’t know better I’d think these were an XS. The inseam is also a tad shorter than usual. Can’t wear them when I feel bloated or eating a meal. Read more
