Really great product! Easy to use and worked well on our laminate floors as well as a couple of pieces of furniture. The heat pen gets nice and hot and the wax is easy to control. Somehow we ripped a peanut-sized hole in our laminate flooring and I was convinced we were going to have to replace the panel. My husband got this kit and was able to fill the hole completely to the point where you you would never notice the repair unless you look for it from a close up. He didn't really try for a great color match 😑 but I'm convinced he'd have gotten an almost-perfect one with some effort. When I scratch my floor a few months ago, I thought I was going to have to call a professional in to do the repairs. I ordered this floor repair kit and I was really surprised that how well it worked. The color match was virtually perfect. It doesn’t come off when I clean the floors, which is fantastic. It’s very easy to use, just heat up the small iron and apply the wax into the scratch and then scrape off the excess with the included scraper. Then just buff the area with a clean cloth and done. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and probably saved me hundreds of dollars by not calling a professional. I couldn’t be happier with the results now that that scratch doesn’t jump out at me every time I pass that area of my house. We use it on our composite floor and to touch up furniture. I had to U-tube how to use it, then some trial and error. Our floor is a light grey wood grain that had a few scratches, holes and scrapes (that from me nuts) that I thought would ruin the floor and require replacing some sections. I was able to fix all of the spots so that only I know where there were! It only took 3 -4 U-tube videos and a little practice to fix all kinds of defects, I surprised myself! I don’t recommended this product for blonde flooring. I have white oak floors. I read the instructions. I cleaned the floors. I used three different waxes to try to get a match. This abomination was the result of my labors. The wax will fill in the cracks, it will not hide imperfections. Read more
