Harley-Davidson Womens Tegan Ankle Boots

I bought these boots because they had a terrific sale on them, plus a $31 coupon so I got them for a steal. I'm replacing an old pair that I've had for about 10 years. These boots are perfect. They are true to size, I wear size 10 normally and I ordered a 10 and they fit just right. They are very comfortable, there's a nice cushion around the ankle, that my old pair did not have which makes these a lot more comfortable. They are still pretty heavy, but not too heavy and the soles are motorcycle boot soles, so they are a little bulky when you walk, but you get used to them right away. I cannot wear high heel shoes and this has a slight heel, but is completely comfortable even after many hours of wearing and being on my feet. The fact that they still have functional laces kind of bewilders me because there is a zipper on the inside so you don't have to lace them up manually like my old boots. You can just zip in and out of them with ease. But why you have functional laces that you have to double tie because they keep coming untied is beyond me. That is one feature I wish they would fix, was the open laces on zippered boots. It's just one more thing to detract from the boot, and the cleanliness of the look. They should just be wrap around laces since they are not functional at all. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend these beautiful boots, laces aside. UPDATE: I suggest wearing high socks because the padding around the ankles has a tendency to wear on your skin. So definitely wear higher socks to accommodate for the possible abrasions if you're wearing ankle socks. Fantastic and comfortable riding boots. Easy to get on and use sturdy zipper. The heavy-duty vibram soles grip the rode and do not slip on wet surfaces. The heel shape keeps your feet safely on the pegs. High-quality construction with exact sizing. They fit well with great ankle support while being a solid boot at a comfortably wearable weight. The leather is great quality and highly durable, but soft to the touch. They are soft on the skin around the ankle and do not rub. Room for my toes while they are protected. I have had them for about a month. They are comfortable and broke in easy. I've walked several miles a day in them on more than one occasion and my feet did not blister and chafe. They are made of actual leather and not that PU leather crap. They are everything I wanted from a cute pair of ankle boots. Read more

Initial purchase: Have only worn briefly for an outing. Great style, shoes were comfortable to stand in and fit my 6.5 size feet well. Will update upon further use. Update: I’ve been wearing these now for almost half a year and have gotten compliments from other ladies on how cute they are. I have found they go well together with any black or grey pants (skinny or ankle cut) or shorts if you want to go for a badass/tomboy look. I recently brought these with me to the UK and Íceland. It’s gone through lots of walking and hiking through drizzle/rain, gravel, pavement and rocks. If you waterproof them with mink oil or beeswax, these will hold up well. The only thing I noticed is that the cushioning inside wore out a little but I did put them through lots of stress with our walking/hiking tours. Overall, great shoes! Read more

I bought these Harley Davidson boots in a size 8 but they were too small in the toe area. That part was very narrow and cramped my toes up so bad. I tried walking in them as I was getting ready for a dinner date but ultimately had to take them off before I got out of the house. I’m surprised since I had previously bought another pair of boots by this brand in the same size 8 and they fit fine. I’m disappointed since I just now took them out of the original box to wear after buying them over a year and a half ago and can’t exchange them for a bigger size. I moved cross country so they have been in storage. But the boots are gorgeous!! They are very well-made with tight stitching and thick, hard soles. And the hardware is very nice! They are everything she wants in a boot & What you would expect from a bzns that’s had operated for over a hundred years. Except the packaging I thought would be more than a cardboard box but they are boots and it is the normal common way for footwear to be packaged. My wife says they are made of good thick high quality leather. She got them for Xmas and has wore them multiple times.(It’s mid February now)And said the zipper is the only way she needs to take them off and on. The comfort doesn’t seem to dissipate or smash down needing to buy insoles. She deals w an old ankle injury that she had surgery on yrs ago. She said they don’t effect it in any negative way in fact the give her support and keep that ankle like it never had an issue. They don’t only make good/legendary motorcycles but their merch is every bit of what you would ask beg pray and expect from Harley Davidson. These Boots are so comfortable. The toe box is wide enough that your toes don't go to sleep. The sizing was correct. I thought I might have to break these in but I wore them the first day for about 3 hours and my feet did not hurt. They're really a great height and the leather quality looks really good they're fairly lightweight they have great traction. I love these boots. Read more
