One size doesn't fit all which everyone knows but for some reason we keep telling ourselves it does. Basically I wish there had been a review that said this so I am going to say it if you are a plus sized person this isn't going to be the enveloping bathrobe of love that you hope it will be it will be a reminder that when they say one size fits all they mean everyone else, not you. Which is kind of rude. They are basically creating and enforcing this "other" of people who don't fit into the one size fits all category. However it is cheaper to mass produce things at one size so I see why they do it because it means they can sell it cheaper which is what eventually swayed my decision. This means that if you are going to be plus sized (because you know... it's a choice #sarcasm) better to be a rich plus sized person because then you can afford to buy things made more to your specifications. Otherwise you are out of luck Once again it is a nice and well made robe I think. It is soft and I can basically get it to cover me but I can tell it wasn't made for people my size. So if you are considered "plus sized" and looking for a more loosely fitting robe that feels more like a hug then I would say look elsewhere (meaning probably not one that is nerdy). If you are looking for something you can wear but not tie unless absolutely necessary then this robe is actually kind of nice it just might make you feel bad about yourself when you remember that it was supposed to fit everyone. This robe is very nicely made! I am 5'6" and weigh cough cough 170 cough pounds cough. (Tell anyone and I will deny it!) Anywho, it goes to my ankles and wraps around great. People complain that it is not for after showers. You can use it but it is not Terricloth like a towel. I believe the description said it was polyester type mix. It feels like a throw blanket. The hood actually is kind of stuffed so it doesn't end up going over your head into your eyes. The sleeves are belled which I didn't notice in the pic. I bought this for my Harry Potter costume for Halloween because I knew it'd keep me warm and that I'd get a lot of use out of it. It's so comfortable and cozy. My kids huddled with me under it when it was really cold at our trunk or treat. I put hand warmers in the pockets and we kept warm all night. And I wear it all the time at home. It is a bit large for me, as I am 5'2 and wear a size medium clothes normally and this is "one size". But I'm not bothered by it, I love it. Read more
