6 month review. This film looks like fancy glass in my bathroom. It allows the light in but is privacy so people cannot see any more than a faint shadow looking in. Flim is still sticking to the glass and it was easy to install without causing any bubbles. We were thinking of replacing the windows with etched privacy glass but this cheaper options works. In love with the window treatment, I have a home built in the 1800's with that being said the windows are large, there was a curtain on the front door and I was so happy to put this on to get all the natural light without anyone being able to see in clearly. Pretty nice! This is at least as good as what I bought from the "WallpaperForWindows" over a decade ago. I couldn't find something I liked there, but this one was close enough. The price was reasonable. The vinyl is not too thick or thin, and looks like it will hold up well over time. The pattern allows for somewhat of a view of someone on the other side, if they are within a few feet (about a meter). I used a 10-inch wide shower squeegee to press out the air bubbles, after spraying filtered tap water onto both surfaces and before application. An exacto blade and a straight-edge (ruler) helped press the film up against the edges while I cut the film to match the window. Over-all, the film adhered well to the glass, and went on fairly easily. I did have some minor issue with the bottom line of the glass... gravity kept water buildup allowing the flim to lift away from the glass. A few minutes of continued pressing with the squeegee and wicking the excess water with a paper towel eventually succeeded in stopping that from happening. I can't see any residual bubbles . I did have a couple issues during the installation with static electricity drawing some lint onto the film after removing the backing film (cellophane). . I am pleased with the result. I purchased larger role than I ended up needing. I thought I was going to apply the film to another window set, but am rethinking the possibility of a semi-private curtain. Read more

We have a bedroom window that faces a busy street and I wanted to add a level of privacy so the blinds could be opened more often. This cling film proved to be surprisingly sturdy and easy to install, and it looks really nice on the window. You can't see through it from either direction during the day. You can see blurry shapes and movement through the film from outside when it's dark and the lights are on in the bedroom, but since we always close the blinds at night that really doesn't matter. The frosted glass effect is so nice that I ended up getting a second roll to use on another window, just because that window looks out on an alley full of trash cans. The frosted glass is MUCH prettier to look at and the light still comes right in! Read more
