It works much more reliably than a non-shower timer, such as a typical kitchen timer, in the shower. You do have push buttons multiple times in some circumstances, where on other timers you have to push once, but it's easy to get used to. And those multiple pushes are generally necessary, because the first push just turns the display ON (which is by default mostly OFF), and only the second push starts the actual action, such as a countdown, after that. NOTE: Dims when counting down, I suppose it’s to conserve battery. I can see this being a visibility issue if used outdoors Excellent if you're looking for an easy to use timer. Big display, installed indoors in bathroom/shower. I had this secured to a quartz wall, cleaned with alcohol and added some water for better suction but it still fell off. No fault to the product, I just suck at using suction cups. The product fell 5 feet onto my bathtub but still functions perfectly. No issues with small water droplets. Display dims off when not in use to conserve battery charge. Four (4) simple buttons Timer sound - off/low/high beep Minutes Seconds Start/Stop Read more

The media could not be loaded. Timer was easy to charge with the included USB cord; needed to be fully charged before use. Timer is easy to set up with an included suction cup, which seems pretty strong; we placed it on our shower tile wall. The instructions note applying some water to the suction cup increases the suction cup's adhesion. Also has an attached foldable stand on the back if you want to stand the timer on a surface. We have our timer positioned up high in the shower, so it doesn't get wet except for a few occasional sprinkles, but it is noted to be waterproof. Box notes that the timer can count up/down. We use the countdown feature which works well. Has an adjustable volume button that we set to the highest level to easily hear the alarm when the shower is on; on this mode alarm goes off and unit brightly flashes when time is up. Instructions note unit can also set to mute mode and screen will flash at high brightness for a minute when set time is up. Can set for minutes, as well as seconds. Timer initially stays in highest brightness mode for 10 seconds and then dims a bit to save energy, but we find it's still bright enough to clearly see numbers. Once timer goes off, you can press the stop/start button, the timer then goes back to the last setting. To reset the timer to all zeros, continue to hold down the stop/start button and all zeros will appear - see review video for example. I feel this timer was fairly priced; we purchased it on sale for a few dollars off the original price. This timer has helped us be mindful of the length of our showers and has helped us cut down on length showers, thus saving money on our water bill! Read more

Very impressive battery life. I love how the alarm is not blaringly loud, but it is loud enough. This timer is so easy to use, and I love its small size and large display. It is very durable in my opinion, as I have dropped it a million times on my shower floor and there is not a single dent or scratch. Really glad I bought this. Read more

Several good things one bad. - Nice bright display. Easy to read and intuitive to set and use. - The suction cup doesn't hold except on extremely smooth surfaces. Even after wetting it didn't hold on my shower tiles nor fixtures. My shower fixtures weren't magnetic. So I'm still trying to figure out how to use this in the shower. Update: I applied a piece of nano tape to the bottom of the suction cup. So far this is holding and should allow me to remove the device from the suction cup, to allow recharging, and then remount it when charged. The company did contact me with a refund offer. I'm declining it since it's currently working. I'll try to remember to update the star rating if it continues being useful. Read more

This was a great timer while it worked, but I got one for Christmas and now about 6 months later it has stopped working. Tried to charge but it just doesnt turn on anymore. They contacted me and sent me a new one, we'll see how long it lasts but now they get all the stars for the effort. Read more

We use this every day. Our kids had been taking spectacularly long showers and using up the hot water for everyone else. But no more! The average US shower is eight minutes, but considering they have less surface area than adults, we settled on giving them seven minutes each. Beep, beep. Get out. Brilliant. Read more
