I've been using this Hawk Sports Dip Belt for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed with how solid and supportive it is — especially for weighted pull-ups and dips. I regularly load it with 90 lbs, and it feels completely secure with no signs of strain or discomfort. What I love about it: The build quality is excellent. The neoprene material is thick and reinforced with double stitching, and the chain feels very sturdy. The 6-inch padded back gives great support, especially during dips where lower back stress can creep in. It's also very comfortable — the foam padding and rounded edges make a big difference when wearing it for longer sets. It doesn’t dig into my hips or waist like cheaper belts tend to. Important tip for taller users: If you're over 6 feet tall, just be aware that the 36-inch chain might be a little short. When I’m doing pull-ups or dips, the weights hang close to my body, which is fine for me (under 6 ft), but a taller person might feel restricted, especially on a dips station or when swinging into position. Pro tip: If needed, just get a chain extender or longer carabiner — a cheap and easy fix. Final thoughts: This belt is a fantastic value for intermediate to advanced lifters. It's durable, secure, and super comfortable even under heavy loads. I’ve tried a few dip belts in the past, and this one strikes a great balance between support, comfort, and price. Read more

Great value for the price! Comfortable, not bulky and folds nicely together to not take too much space in the GYM bag. I replaced the chain with quality rope and tie bowlines to each ring, easy and less bulky than the chain. Read more
I bought this belt so I could add weight to pull ups. Since I'm only starting to use it I've only attached 5-25 lbs. For that purpose the belt is fine, comfortable, and a solid deal. However, its chain and carabiners are on the lighter side. I've attached a picture of them. The Hawk belt chain and carabiner is at the top of the picture. On the bottom, for comparison, is the chain and carabiner from a weight machine I own that connects to a weight stack of 200 lbs. Now the weight machine will get more use and produce more stress than a weight belt but you can see the Hawk chain and carabiner is on the thin side. But given that I don't intend to attach more than a 40-50 lb weight [if that]. it was a good deal for my purposes. If needed, I have sturdier carabiners/chains and could always sub those in in the future. Read more
I was a little skeptical about buying this because some had said that the chain was flimsy and I was also worried it would fall off my hips in use. Well I've been using it for a week at the gym now with no issue. The chain is just fine. I've been doing pull-ups with one 45 plate so far and no issue. As soon as the the weight goes on the chain it tightens the belt on the hip so it won't fall. I handle it with care because I know how inexpensive it is but it's a solid dip belt. I have wanted one of these for some time and finally decided to get one for weighted dips and pull-ups. After getting used to how to wear it I fell in love. It settles really comfortably on your hips and fits really well while holding the weight. I used it yesterday doing 25 lb pull-ups and have no doubt that the belt could hold much more weight whenever I can actually handle it Read more
When I bought this is said 300 pound weight capacity but I did dips with 120 pounds and the D ring on one end completely unbent out of shape and came off. I can position it just right and still use it as a hook and use it for dips but it can slip off and potentially be dangerous. Apart from needing better end D loops the belt is comfortable Read more
If you need some more weight for your pull ups or parallel bars exercises this one is for you. I have reached my limit in those exercises and needed something to bring some weight so I chose this product because it was cheap and got great reviews, I just want to clarify some things I have read during research: Sharpness- No, THIS PRODUCT HAVEN'T CUT ME AT ALL AND HAS NO SHARP EDGES, you just need to know how to connect it to your hip and stand up without it touching, I am no expert but I am sure you will find the way. Hip size compatibility- YES, NARROW HIPS CAN BE A CHALLENGE, however, once you put enough weight and start with the exercise, gravity will lock the belt to your hip without any problem. Durability and Usefulness- OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT BELT: even though it is cheap and could be more comfortable I have managed to use it for 70 lbs without any problem at all. I love this belt, don't listen to the bad reviews. i REALLY LIKE THE CASE came with it, it is super useful! I put my gloves in it and head straight to the gym Read more
