Official Desk; Works Well; Easy to Assemble

For reference, I am 5' 0" tall. I assembled the desk with a second person; however, the assembly is easy and so straight forward that I imagine a single person can set it up without issues. Though, a second person makes carrying and lifting much easier. You can also look up an instructions video online, if you need the visual and audio. If you're particularly apprehensive, you can look up the instructions PDF too. The instructions are written in fluent english. All the parts come in orange baggies that are clearly labeled. You may or may not need a drill. We did not. I do wish, however, Amazon offered more color options. Right now, they only offer the white tabletop. Unfortunately, the tabletop scratches easily–Haworth recommends setting it down on a rug/carpet for this reason. There are several gray scratches on my tabletop that, I feel, could be easily hidden/ignored had it not been white. Another thing: the instructions tell you to "center" the frame. However, there are no markings to indicate the center of the frame. Fortunately, there are holes on the columns that can help you eyeball the center. For QOL reasons, I think Haworth could mark their frames to indicate the center. A few scratches don't bother me though. You can always replace the wood with a different top, which is nice if you're handy and/or already own a top you like, but need the frame. I am typing this right now while standing. The controls are easy and smooth. My back feels great being able to switch from sitting to standing in 20-30 minute intervals. Read more
