While the material may not seem as sturdy as other types of material for a cosmetic bag, it's actually convenient for storage (folds easily) and flexible enough to stuff if needed. I also appreciate the various sizes (able to place smaller makeup items separate from larger brushes, etc.) and good to put smaller ones in purses or backpacks and larger ones in totes or travel bags.
