Discord didn’t work like it said it was supposed to so I can’t get my PlayStation two to come on on my TV. I have a smart TV and I plugged discord into the PlayStation two and into the HDMI and it wouldn’t work. Read more

Terrible video quality as it takes in a composite signal rather than component signal. Placement of the additional power input via USB is also pretty restrictive since you have to have a ton of space on its left side. Also, because it's always on rather than syncing power state to the console (because they didn't think to include a connection to the 5V line) it's completely incompatible with automatic switching devices. Overall: don't waste your time with this, just spend an additional $10 to get something that's not manufactured waste. Read more

This works perfect with my brand new 75" Samsung QN90D. Yes, it is not High def, I probably need to change the video settings for 1080P, not sure if I can do that but, for what it is, it works really well. It's good enough to pay a 2009 game on a 2024 TV. I can't complain about that. My PS2 is Alive once more. Read more

Picture is darker than I like. Hard to play my ps2 games. I have put all the game and tv settings on bright. It's still dark. I also wish the cord was 6 feet not 3 feet. Had to buy an HDMI extension so it would go where I need it to. Read more

If you do not have a CRT television, or if you have no other way of connecting your Playstation to an HD T.V., then this will work. It is the cheapest option I have seen. My HD T.V. does have A.V. input, but it looks a little worse playing the Playstation through the A.V. connection. So this still might be worth it for you. The good: - I don't notice any lag. I notice a lot of lag through the AV ports on my TV. - It looks ok. The bad: - Unless your TV has an option to select 4:3 aspect ratio, this is going to displa your game in a way so that it is stretched. - It does not brighten the picture anymore than if you use the AV connection in your HD TV, if you have one. On my TV, Alien Trilogy, Alien Resurrection, Parasite Eve, and some other games, are too dark for the TV to display any detail. If the game looks too dark through your AV connection on your HD TV, then it will probably look too dark through this. - The image quality is not sharp at all. This is just an HD from component cable signal converter. It uses the component cable that has one of those headphone connectors. - It gets hot. I don't know if that's bad. Maybe it'll last, maybe it won't. I don't know. It was cheap, so I don't really care. To sum it all up: Having said all that, if you can wait a while, and save your money to get one of the more expensive ones, then I think that's a better idea. I didn't see any reviews for this, so I got it to see if it was a good deal. This works for me ok. I'm not disappointed, since it only cost like 17 bucks. I'm actually using it, and it is better than just using the AV cables on my HD TV. But I'm definitely getting a better one later. I feel like I got what I paid for. Read more
