Compatible with both older and newer TVs but I currently have it connected with my Amazon Omni television. Easy to use manually and provided excellent DVD play, but I am overwhelmed by all the buttons and functions on the remote control. Great value for the price. Love the compact size! Read more

This was only $30, it’s small and lightweight, but doesn’t have a great picture and mine has trouble getting started for some reason, but after opening and closing again and starting it over, it will finally play. It’s not bad for a $30 DVD player. I’m able to watch movies and I’m not one that has to have a perfect theater experience, so it works for me! I think my problems with it starting may be where due to the location that the DVD player is. The remote doesn’t have a clear path to the player. Once I get a new entertainment center it may work fine. Right now I have it sitting behind my tv, so that may be the problem. And the seller offers an additional part to give you a HD picture but I didn’t purchase it. As I said, I’m not real picky. The picture isn’t bad, it just isn’t as good as my HD TV picture. But good deal overall Read more

I was excited to get the DVD player and hooked it up easily and put some new batteries in the remote (not included). I put on a Simpsons DVD and it got through only 2 episodes before stopping, showing a "Support Contact DLcustomerservice@163.com" screen. Then it began automatically opening and closing the DVD tray over and over by itself until I turned it off with the remote. Neither the remote nor on-device power button will turn it back on now. I've unplugged it and then plugged it back in after a few minutes but still it won't turn on. Luckily, the tray was ejected before it shut off because the DVD player doesn't even have a mechanical emergency "eject" button (usually a little paperclip sized hole on DVD drives) to forcefully eject it -- I could have lost a DVD in addition to getting a defective device. It's clearly a poorly-made DVD player. Cheap crap from a no-name brand. I should have known better and ordered from a more reputable electronics company. Read more

This DVD player is not worth the money. It started fine, but went to hell quick. We borrowed my brother in laws dvd's to watch a 5 season movie and the player would lock up and skip then it started digging into the dvds. It ruined several of the disks so I do not recommend it at all. Read more
