The item was pretty good Crystal clear so far picture qualities is great. I gotta try another DVD. I did try too so far every time I put it in a tray and I hit the button to close on the remote control. It keeps popping open. Takes about five times before it actually catches. I’m very happy with this DVD player. Setup was simple with the HDMI cable, and the picture quality is clear on my TV. The DVD player turned out to be very functional and easy to install. So far, it is playing my DVDs with no problems. According to manuel, it also plays CDs, but I haven't tried it. It was worth the purchase. Hopefully, it lasts more than three years. Read more

Got it to replace my old DVD player and one I bought somewhere else that malfunctioned. It works at it should. Tried it on 2 DVD's and it played them fine. Easy to set up and use. I want to see how it works with CD's. My only concern is that while I'm used to turning the volume up while I use a DVD the sound quality isn't what I hoped, but it works. Maybe if I had a sound bar? This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon! It was a simple cheap dvd player, but it was definitely not worth the price! I expected poor video quality or loud but when I have to screw around for 20 minutes or more trying to get one dvd to play that mind you I have already watch a million times with this dvd player, it’s about to become scap metal. It picks and chooses when it wants to load and play dvd and it’s not a specific dvd either. I’ve gone back and forth between two dvds for 5 minutes. I put one in it loads automatically I put in the dvd I want to watch it won’t load I try a completely different dvd it loads but it never loads the dvd I actually want to watch. I should have returned when I first bought it but it only happened once In the first month and a half I owned it then it progressively got worse. If I could give zero stars that’s what it would get! UPDATE: it is now little more than five months since I purchased this piece of junk, bought January 8th, 2024. Can’t return it. Can’t get the manufacturer to respond to you and Amazon won’t return it. It’s just a dust collector now as it’s got a life of its own now and just opens and closes whether you have turned it on or off. By button or via the remote. It only stops when it’s unplugged from all power. Yes it was cheap yes I took a gamble. But I would have thought atleast a year tops before if breaks. Read more
