There are so many things about this head shaver I absolutely love compared to a different brand and version I was using previously. That was a 5 head vs this being 7, which felt overkill but I'm actually happier about it! First obviously more heads means less wear and tear on each individual blade, as well as more coverage per pass so you can get finished faster. The other big part I love about this is that by default the shaver is convex instead of concave. I would have such a difficult time getting flatter parts successfully cut like behind my ears or my neckline with my other shaver because I'd have to push so hard to get the heads to make contact. By contrast this being out by default makes it much easier to get solid contact (3rd pic). When you are working the rest of your head, the shaver flexes easily to contour to whatever part of your head you're working on (4th pic). Each head moves somewhat independently so you really get full coverage from the whole unit. The whole shaver head coming off magnetically to clean is FANTASTIC, as well as the amount of area behind the blades for the cut hairs to build up before you have to open and clean. To clean my other unit each side head would flip open 90°, and the center head would twist/unscrew out. They would fill up SO FAST I'd have to empty the shaver 2-3 times for a single cut. Also over time they wouldn't stay snapped close so snugly, so sometimes a head would just pop open in the middle of a shave. With this there's no need to empty it before I'm finished, and when I am done I just pull the entire head off and give it a few taps and all the cut hair comes right out! I haven't used it wet or in the shower, I've only dry shaved with it but I don't doubt the IP waterproof rating of it. I’ll admit, I am not a bald man. I’m a woman with a full head of long hair, but I am a lazy shaver with sensitive skin. Having had a good experience previously with a similar style of shaver, I decided to try an upgrade with this one, and I’m honestly so pleased with all the bells and whistles it offers. It actually came fully charged and ready to use right out of the box, which is a great start. ​ While it isn't silent, it’s quiet enough that I could easily talk to you while using it. The LED display looks really nice and is actually helpful for making sure I have enough juice left so I don't end up running out mid-shave. The shaver covers a large area and flexes really well around curves like knees and ankles. Best of all, it leaves behind no irritation at all, just soft clear skin. ​ The handle is great for a one-handed grip and maneuvers well, plus the button placement is perfect for one-handed use. I especially love the magnetic head. It makes it so easy to clean because you don’t even need to line it up perfectly; the magnets just figure it out and snap it into place for you. I do wish it gave a slightly closer shave on the first pass, as I noticed a few stray hairs that required another pass for the results I wanted, but since it covers ground so quickly, the extra effort is minimal. In my opinion, the width (~7 cm) of the razor head or array of this shaver is its main advantage. That gives it a wide track or shaving area that helps complete the job of shaving the face and head quickly. The seven circular blades float in the array and move independently to follow the contours of one’s head. The blades provide a good shave without nicking or pulling. I found the power button straightforward with just a press needed to turn on/off. Next to the power button on either side are speed-control buttons to access the three speeds available. Not sure what the benefit of multiple speeds is, but it's there. Because I don’t shave my head, I’ve only used this on my face. It gives me a nice shave quickly. The design of the main body is pleasing to hold. Textured surfaces of the shaver enhance grip. The textured surface also makes the shaver easy to hang on to when it’s wet, like when using it in the shower or washing it our in the sink. The shaver came fully charged and I haven’t depleted that completely during a week’s use. I do like that it charges with USB-C so there’s not a proprietary charging cord to travel with. Another feature that is really helpful is that the shaver head is held in place magnetically which eliminates little plastic clips on other shavers that break and render the shaver useless. Yes, this actually happened to me. Anyway I think this shaver is a good value for the price and appears as if it will last a long time. I’d recommend it to a friend. Read more
