I ordered these for my mother, and she really liked how they worked. Ultimately though had to return them, they are larger and with a little more weight than the really small hearing aids due to the rechargeable battery. Her ears are on the small side and one ear canal is more shallow, so she had difficulty getting them to stay in place and the one side fell out into her lap once in a while. Be aware of the dimensions, and if your ears are medium/large you probably won't have a problem. They may even be OK for some people with smaller ears, depending on exactly how they end up sitting on your ears. VOLUME CONTROL is so bad. If I turn it up so I can barely hear, the whistling starts. It took me 24 hours to get the screaming feedback down to where it wasn't punishing me every moment. If I moved my neck or jaw or walked within 18 inches of the wall, it would begin growling and screaming. I remembered this from the past with another brand. This came w only 3 earplugs, none large enough. I finally stopped the screaming feedback by forcing the earplug as far in as possible and lowering the volume so that I can hardly hear. I will return. NOTE: When I bought my previous pair ($6,000 Phonaks), I finally had to get a mold made of my ear. This stopped the horrible screaming feedback. No problem for 6 years. Read more
I bought these for temporary use while my $4K hearing aids were sent in for repairs. Set-up and fine tuning was very easy via the phone app. Sound quality is far better than expected, given the relatively low price. Charging/recharging is also quick and easy. The interface with my iPhone is terrific. If you buy them, take your time with the set-up and read the instructions. Everything is very straight-forward. My expectations have been greatly exceeded. Just what I needed. My main issue was hearing conversations in restaurants and family gatherings. I was constantly having to ask everyone to repeat themselves. These are very large and did not expect them to be so big. They sound ok, but as for being in a noisy area and I tried all 3 different adjustments,there was a guy looking at me and talking to me and I really could not hear or understand him. To me they seem to have a hard time picking up voice. That is the main reason I got them. Read more
