I like these! They do dampen ambient noise quite a bit and are actually comfortable to sleep in, coming from a side sleeper. I love that they come with additional silicone tips, and come in a very nice little carrying case. Easy to toss into your purse of your pocket. I think might be better for sleeping, studying, and being in large crowds if you are sensitive to sounds. I've used them during local shows seeing live music and they do work well, but you may want something that blocks out more sound for heavy rock concerts. Overall very happy with these. Read more

I got this for my younger brother who is 33 years old and is hypersensitive with sounds. He wakes up even with the small noise (i.e. upstairs folks flushing toilet, walking around) so he usually wears ear plugs. I was surprised to find out that he was using disposable, cheaply made sponges. I found this and he has been wearing it for about a week now. This is the feedback I received from him. Noise Cancellation: He said these earplugs block white noises well at night. His main use was for his sleep so he did not need ones that block loud noise. These serve him well. Quality: He said these feel like earbuds and he said they felt well-made. He is using the silicone that came in default so he has not used other sizes. The ones came as default fit him well. Room for improvement: Like most other earplugs, these are very easy to lose. He was not sure if these could be improved further by adding "find my" feature, but said that would be awesome. These hearing protection earplugs are more comfortable and much easier to put in my ears than my old pair, which I had to twist and sort of push. The packaging is nice and a good place to store the extra eartips (other sizes). I have small ear canals, so the small size is good for me. It comes with 4 sizes of eartips and they are easy to change. Also the storage carrying case is a nice design to easy fit in your pocket. Sometimes I like ear protection for concerts or open mike restaurants when the volume is high. I have no way to rate the earplugs as to how many decibels the sound is decreased, so I’m mainly rating them on comfort and the storage case. Read more

Bought these for my son, who is an incredibly light sleeper. I also tried them myself for a short test. My son felt they didn’t block as much ambient noise as he’d hoped and that it wasn’t much different than wearing nothing. For me, however, they did help reduce background sound—I could hear my heartbeat and breathing instead of the usual electrical hum. I have daith piercings in both ears and often find earbuds uncomfortable or hard to seat properly. I normally need double-flange silicone pieces, but these earplugs fit like a charm. I rotated the plugs so the silver disc faced upward, just as the instructions indicated, and they didn’t interfere with my piercings at all. They felt snug and comfortable, and they didn’t stick out, which suggests they’d be slim enough for side sleepers. The storage case is very convenient and minimal, making it perfect to keep right on your nightstand without taking up space. I don’t personally need earplugs at night, so I won’t be using them for sleeping, but it’s nice to know that during the day I have something that can help reduce the constant ambient noise.
