It was a gift and he loved it. He definitely felt it was the Cadillac of heated hats. He loved the way the heat was around the back of his neck and head. He especially liked the mask part over his mouth. He could breathe very easily! Also loved that the batteries were rechargeable! He has not stopped talking about how great it is! This heated baclava mask is very warm. It is worth the buy for me. This has lasted for a couple of years so far. Obviously worn seasonally, but almost every day outdoors during each winter. It is easy to pull over a ton of hair, think curly afro or long, thick female hair. It does not attract moisture or retain smells. I have found it easy to wipe down in between wears too. So I just got this heated balaclava and charged up the battery and put it right to use because it's freezing today. The battery charged up in about an hour so I put the battery in the side pocket and turned it on. It heated up pretty quickly. I'd say it was about 3-5 minutes before it was toasty warm. The hat is made out of pretty soft, comfortable fleece like material which seems to keep the heat insulated well. It was a tighter fit than I expected but not too tight. I don't like how they put a layer of material, like molding, around they eyes. I found that to be the most uncomfortable thing about it. It was irritating and felt a little constricting while rubbing up against my face. Maybe I wouldn't notice it with a larger size which would be XL. Overall, I'm happy with this order but I do think it's priced a little high. It's not outrageous though and will definitely help keep you warm out there during the winter. Read more
