This eye mask is perfect for sinus eye pain or dry eye issues. Very nicely boxed and comes w a charging cord, although it’s only about a ft long. Charged quickly and the charge lasted 5 15 minute uses at the 3rd heating level. The 4th level is pretty hot and since I was using it at bedtime, I didn’t want to fall asleep w the highest setting on. Automatically shuts off at 15, 45, or 60 minute intervals and once it shuts off, it cools very quickly. The outside cover is soft chenille & the part that rests against your eyes/face is a soft silky fabric. Very comfortable. The strap has an adjustable buckle and I had to move it over my ears to make it fit w/o hurting my ears. It is easily adjusted, though. I’ve used it 5 nights straight, either before bed or in the middle of the night when my dry eye symptoms start. I can now turn it on easily by feeling w/o turning on a light. It’s that easy to use! It’s very effective at relieving that scratchy, gritty feeling that dry eye disease causes, at least for me. Since I wash my face bf bed, I haven’t needed to wash it yet, but the cover easily zips off from the heating element so I guess it would wash easily. Great value & I’m very happy w/it. Read more
This heated eye mask is excellent to help with dry eye and sinus issues. It came well packaged with a usb charging cord--plug not included. The charging slot is found under the settings button area. The eye mask material is soft, comfortable, and of good quality. It's washable,, durable, and covers the whole eye and sinus area. The head band is adjustable. I hope it lasts. Similar bands I have used detached with continued, extensive, overnight use. The heating element located in a zippered pouch is also wrapped in a soft, durable material which should be removed from pouch and NOT washed. The mask timer can be set at 15 minute increments up to 60 minutes. Just press and hold left button until 15 appears then press until desired time shows. There are three levels of heat which can be adjusted by pressing the right button. Spritz, don't soak, the eye mask with some water for greater, deeper relief. This eye mask is easy to use, is lightweight, and travels well It works extremely well for the function it was intended. It completely blocks light and has added padding for comfort and to contain heat around the nose bridge. I've spent hundreds of dollars on eye drops and other items to bring relief to dry eye issues. This really works. Gets very warm. The outer fabric casing is washable. It did need to be recharged often, so I started recharging it each morning [I used it before going to sleep]. The timer seems to shut off before the time selected [e.g., for 15 minutes, it seems to shut down after 12 minutes] maybe it has to, I am not sure. But it does get very warm, which is soothing and I have fallen asleep after it has shut off, still wearing it! Fits well, too, with an adjustable band that fits around your head. Read more
I was advised to use warm compresses to aid in my dry eye and occluded draining of the eyes problem. This rechargeable mask has various timing settings and four different temperature settings. I learned that the optimal heat for my problem was about 104ºF and that seems to be the lowest level settings on this mask. Higher temperatures might be problematic and maybe damage the eye unless prescribed.
