My guy doesn’t have heat in his truck and the lighter thingy doesn’t work to put in a small space heater . So I came across this jacket when I was looking at options for keeping him warm. It works amazingly!!! And stays working for hours! The battery pack is simple to use and easy to charge . He stays warm while out of the office and on work sites. This heated jacket likely cannot be beat for the price point. Here are my thoughts: 1) The heating elements of the jacket work as advertised and heat up very quickly. There is a noticeable difference between each heat setting, which allows you to find the right setting for the temperature you are dealing with outside. 2) The jacket fits true to size, just use the measurements provided. The jacket looks slightly bulkier than I expected, but is comfortable enough. The battery is significantly heavy and I find that the storage pocket sags as a result. 3) The battery is pretty robust. In my limited testing, it lasted 5 hours on the medium setting with plenty of battery to spare. 4) With regards to build quality. The zippers are a bit suspect, and I am not sure how they will hold up after extended use. Additionally, as some others have experienced, the stitching for the insulation baffling appears to have insulation strands popping out. Functionally, the jacket works as intended, and the price is right. However, the build quality brings this down to a three-star for me. **UPDATE** Bumping this up to four stars.
