I have on this rack: - 11 coats (2 winter, 1 autumn, 3 raincoats, 1 vest, 4 jackets) - 5 pairs of shoes (3 in shoe boxes) - 3 backpacks (1 laptop backpack, 2 daypacks) Your mileage may vary depending on what the weather is like near you, what clothing items you need, and your height/weight. But this seems like a convenient solution for a hallway and beats a single-pole coat rack by a mile. It feels sturdy and can be easily moved underneath to clean. It’s easy to put together and it is one of the more decently-priced options on here (the other rack I had my eye on was over twice the price). I also like the height of this rack. It’s tall enough to hold coats while not being wobbly. A lot of the cheaper options on here are too short. If you are a taller person, you might not be able to put a bag on the first shelf, so double-check the measurements before buying, but it works for me and my dimensions. Read more

This is a great buy. Not only is the price reasonable but the assembly, although somewhat time consuming, was easy when following the directions. It is sturdy and a perfect size for a small space. This is a really great rack at a really good price. It is sturdy, holds more than you think. It is good for a small apartment or if you just need extra storage space. I like that you could choose the color as I prefer white. It moves around easily. The only problem was that the written directions were not great. But if you use the written directions with the video on YouTube, assembly gets easier. I put it together loosely and then tightened it after I made sure that everything was in the right place. It is more sturdy than it looks. Unfortunately it looks really cheap. It is not really gold, it’s more of a mustard yellow with sparkles in the paint. The shelves are really cheap looking wire but are required for structural support. The space between the bottom shelf is not enough to keep dresses from snagging on the cheap wire shelving. It doesn’t hold as much as I had hoped, but it seems sturdy enough for occasional use. The knobs on the end are plastic and do not match the metal. It’s ok for a coat overflow for a party, guest room, or for out of season clothes in bags. Because of the color, plastic knobs and cheap wire mesh shelves I would not use this in a prominent space, unless your decor is chartreuse in which case this would look fabulous. The assembly was pretty easy and done in less than an hour. The bolts arrive mixed together and it’s worth the effort to sort the pieces. Some of the rods were not labeled but it was pretty easy to sort out. The order of instruction steps were actually well listed. I live in a small space and wanted to find a way to get my clothes prepped for the week without putting them back in the closet, where they inevitably get wrinkled again, or they disappear and I forget what I meant to wear. Size is great for small space bedroom. But the holes on the rods are not consistently there, and some drilled holes are not on the same side of the rods. There is a screw left but no hole to screw it in. There are no missing parts but there are missing predrill holes for the screws. Seems sturdy. One of the mesh shelves, the mesh is not being secured in the gap of the frame, it's sticking out, I am using a piece of liner to cover that shelf. Otherwise, it will tear up some knit clothing.
