This mug is extremely heavy—like, two-hands heavy. It genuinely surprised me how solid and weighty it is. Maybe I’m just weak, but lifting it full definitely takes some effort. That said, I imagine it’ll feel easier with time (or with more caffeine). Build quality is excellent. It feels incredibly well made—thick, sturdy, and clearly built to last. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a statement piece or just like a mug that feels substantial in your hands, this is it. Read more

It's made to last and it's a good challenge for most people. I bought it recently and I've been using it to drink water while i played games. It's honestly a nice wrist workout and i planned on using it everyday as a mug for drinking water. I workout 4 times a week so a little extra lifting doesn't hurt. Plus it should help with climbing by strengthening the wrist and fingers. It can be hard on the hands for people without calluses because it has a great texture for grip. Read more

The weight of the cup was great but the volume of liquid it can hold isn’t adequate. Not adequate for a cup of coffee. Read more

Absolutely ridiculous buy on my part, but it's hilarious to watch grown men struggle drinking out of it at our bonfires. LOL! Pure novelty item. Read more

Its exactly what you think it is, a dumbell stainless steel cup. You can drink out of it if you can lift it!! Super cool mug, would recommend. Read more

Other reviewers said this was more of a novelty and that really is the case. If you’re not buying this as a joke, then know that you’re still buying a joke. It’s incredible shallow. Comically so. The empty space of the mug only goes down halfway. I used some hotdog tongs to demonstrate the depth. I also put in an aluminum can. It probably really is 14 ounces, but practically speaking, it wouldn’t hold more than 12 tops. It looks like a mug from the side, from the top it just looks like a prop. And it feels more heavy than it is because of the handle. 22lbs isn’t hard to lift; but the handle makes it awkward. Wouldn’t be a problem drinking from it if you were doing it once to be funny, but I get the feeling you’d eventually bust a tooth or two if you tried to use it as an actual mug for any length of time.
