This plaid Sherpa-lined jacket kept me very warm in 40° weather while spending time at the county fair. As others have mentioned, this is lightweight but nice and warm. The zipper seems to be sturdy and the sleeves run a bit long on the one we got, which is PERFECT as my man has long arms these fit great. We bought it large because of layering is the rule during the autumn and winter months but we've found that it runs small, but the jacket is soft and warm, has 2 breast pockets, 2 side pockets, the body of jacket is lined with what looks like a sherpa-type material that is nice and warm, the sleeves are lined with something else, but they are also nice and warm, and the hood is also lined and warm, so overall, it's a solid staple purchase for the cold weather. We'll see how it lasts this upcoming season in terms of durability and if it shrinks when I wash it, and I'll update this review if any unpleasant surprises come up, but for now, we're both really pleased with the purchase! This is a very oddly made jacket. I ordered a 3xl, my husband's usual size, and it was somewhat too short and too small through the chest. I returned the 3xl and ordered a 4xl, which was also too short and too tight through the chest but with arms that would fit an orangutan. The fabric was not terribly sturdy, but the jacket seemed as if it would be warm and so would have been okay were it not for the odd fit. I am returning the 4xl and will not re-order. Read more
