I recently got this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. Aside from being a cool hedgehog, the fabric is soft yet durable enough to be holding up to daily household abuse very well. I know it says 17 inch in the description, but this was still bigger than I was expecting. It's not crazy big, but it's big enough that my daughter often uses it as a pillow. I think she really likes the size. The white fabirc has been surprisingly pretty easy to keep clean and wash when necessary, the best part being that the fabric isn't showing signs of fading or getting thin/weak from washing. When I read the product description, it left me wondering if its ”spiky” side was truly going to be spiky or stuffed animal soft. Thankfully it’s the latter! This guy is so cute. I actually bought him to see if he’d be a good neck pillow or car pillow for an upcoming roadtrip, as he has the right shape. He was a great addition on our roadtrip! I used him as an arm rest, neck pillow, & something to hug (his feet are great handles) when my arms were tired in the car. My only thing about this cutie is his belly is not flat, so he does not lay flat when you put him down (see pics). It’s not a big deal for me, but something to know. He’s soft, squishy, cuddly, and cute! I got the medium size and it’s perfect for me. Now that we’re home, I think he may become a lap pillow when using my tablet or reading a book. The media could not be loaded. This is a very cute and very high quality stuffed hedgehog. It is the perfect gift for any child who might want something a little more unique rather than the typical stuffed bear or dog. He is neutral enough that he looks great in any bedroom and is perfect to sit on a bed or prop up on a shelf. I really love his little beady eyes and nose- and no mouth, lol. This is a very cool and unique stuffed animal because it just feels more high quality than a lot of them. The face and feet are soft and plush and then the back "spike" part is made of a sort-of silky material that moves. I think that contributes to the more high quality/high end look and feel of this stuffed animal. There is no cheap, scraggly "fur" on him. This little guy would look really adorable in a new baby's nursery to give it that high end look and feel. It is well worth the money and makes a great gift for a new mom or any kid. I think it's gender neutral so anyone would probably like it. One of the hints I learned about stuffed animals is that if you receive them vacuum packed or even just slightly wonky from shipping- put them in the dryer for a few minutes and they fluff right up. It's cute, but I would call this on the lower quality of plush. The fur is similar to ones that are about half the cost, sometimes cheap souvenir style things. It arrived compressed and fluffed up okay, but I feel it is under-filled. The face is cute, and if you have someone that likes hedgehogs, it'd make an okay gift.
