I bought these for massaging oil into hair. I had no idea that I should have been using these all along. They are also good just for washing hair. I loved the color purple! I use one frequently at my bedside table as a scalp massage tool even when I’m having an attack. It can help counter attack the pain centers on my head, such as near my temple. The soft pressure of these points is the right pressure for more than my fingertips but less than my fingernails to press those painful spots to massage my scalp whenever I want to. I can’t stand my hair anymore so I keep it rather short d/t Migraine intensity nowadays. The shampoo was very nice with this brush, although I’m imagining if you have longer hair, it might not be as useful? But I gave up dealing with my long hair over 20 years ago so I’m not the one to ask about that. Works great with shorter hair and if you’re a migraineur who has that problem of painful self shampoos… this helps… use the brush to lather your hair & it’s like someone else washing your hair. Don’t worry. If you don’t understand what I’m talking about, you’re not a chronic migraineur. I think it has made my hair come in thicker at the roots, although that wasn’t my intention with using this product. Overall I really like this product. There were a few small issues at first, however they were addressed with great customer service although in reality they seem to have been issues relating to shipping/handling. Let me start by saying I did buy four of these and they come as two packs, so two orders of two each scalp massagers. Both boxes containing the massagers arrived mangled. The product packaging is minimal and therefore requires appropriate packaging for shipping. One of the massager handles was cracked upon arrival. I suspect this may have happened during shipment due to being packaged in only a bubble envelope for shipment. The product packaging had been discarded by the time I noticed and therfore I didn't attempt a return, but the manufacturer saw my initial review and responded Immediately with a replacement product. The product itself is really good and I really do like these a lot They are comfortable in your hand and easy to use. Feels great on the scalp and I use for both shampoo and conditioning. In my opinion my hair feels differently since begining to use these, actually softer and less coarse. 1 color for me, 3-4 medium size ladies fingers fit inside; different color for husband 3 fingers inside with thumb & pinky on outside (as designed), very comfortable either way! Outer rubber handles have slight stretch with comfortable rubber both keep brush firmly in hand. We LOVE them as they genuinely deep clean to remove oils & dead skin (yuk), but leaves our scalps feeling invigorated. Tips: - wash hair with your hair type shampoo using up/down movements on small portions of scalp only, pick up, move to another area to prevent tangles (a surprising workout, but most protective). - always wash brush after use or you might later see dried gunk it removed Happy surprises: my waist long wavy hair experienced ZERO additional hair loss (when done as I instructed above), & nice tight sealed brush does NOT collect water inside as some other brands do. Exactly as pictured. I'm struggling with scalp buildup from dead skin, product buildup, and my hair sheds (too much) all year long. As soon as it starts getting cold, my skin dries out like an old unused dish sponge and my scalp is affected as well. I've been wanting to buy one of these to try and boost circulation to my scalp and in turn boost growth. My hair is long but it has thinned out so much due to the issues above, vitamin deficiencies, cold, dry weather, and a huge factor mental illnesses including: anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, C-PTSD and a lot of stress. The value for these are great and I even got it cheaper for a black Friday discount. I thought the silicone bristles would be too flimsy but they are absolutely sturdy enough to do the job but soft enough to not damage your scalp or make it even more sore if you deal with a sore scalp as well as I do. One day, I'd like to be able to afford the vibrating battery operated one with rotating nobs but this will absolutely do for now. Maybe forever. 10/10 and you can even gift the other one (it comes in a pack of 2) to a someone else or keep it one in the shower and one for scalp treatments and what not.
