This pair of pull-on, split-hem capris fit me well, if somewhat tightly. There was ample stretch, no see-thru for the black color. They passed the squat test. They were a little snug on my belly (2 kids/2 C sections) and do not have a wide waist panel. I looked a little bi-sected, but since that's me I have a lot of shirts to complement this particular situation and these black capri's went well with my tops. I would recommend sizing up if you are between sizes for curvy bodies. I found these quite comfortable for a day spent running errands & around the house. I only experienced any waist roll-down hours later after a couple meals. They were quite snug to put on the first time, but they gave some stretch after wearing and were quite shapely and comfortable after a several minutes- they're the type of pant that would be tight after coming out of the wash/dry but loosen up after a few minutes of wear. I do wish the tummy panel was wider, but these pants would look cute with a tucked in shirt and I'm not sure a tummy panel would. It's summer here but we've had overcast grey skies. The weight of these pants was thicker but breathable and not overly hot or stifling. I think they do a fair job of smoothing, but that could be less-so with the lighter colors. The length and split hem are perfect, they're at that sweet spot for showing off your calves with sandals. Aside from the waist-the perfection of which I sacrificed for my family- I found these quite flattering and comfortable. They work for casual situations (I went to a neighbor's garden party) but would be suitable for work or in an office. Read more

These capri pants were exactly what I was looking for, and perfect to wear under long tops. Sturdy, stretchy material. Fit as expected: I am a size 14 in pants and purchased an XL, which is what I generally wear for tight stretch pants. Grateful for the pockets. I put them through a regular cool wash to see how they would hold up, and they did fine. There was only one tiny flaw that I even hesitate to mention because it does not affect the garment at all - small area of irregular stitching inside the pants, but it is not visible on the exterior. Stylistically speaking, the little notch at the knee elevated the look compared to similar other black capris. I look forward to wearing them a lot, especially for summer evening outings and travel. These capri pants are really nice! The fabric is thicker than I expected and feels luxurious. The tailoring is superb; these capris look top-notch and classy. They would not look at all out of place on a cruise or upscale vacay. Unfortunately, I gained a little weight since I ordered the pants and no longer fit into them! My daughter is very pleased with the look. The fit is perfect for her. Material is smooth and flexible. The one flaw is back pockets are not real, just decorative. She hates faux pockets! She keeps feeling like he pocket and reaching to put her hand in and there is no real opening or pocket. Read more
