When I was younger, I always admired elegant, mature, women who wore minimal and strong but beautiful outfits. I always wanted to have a wardrobe of elegant, comfortable, tailored, outfits, I could accent with little pops of vivid colors and patterns by way of scarves, shawls, belts, etc... Finally, I am on my way to sorting that out. I'm 6' and 200 pounds, with a 34" waist. I am typically an XL or a 16-18. That's what I ordered in these lovely pants, and the fit is pretty much dead-on. I love the material. It's soft, but the texture gives it a bit of extra character, and weirdly the pleats are cute as well. The waistband is elastic on the back, so it has a little bit of give. I have short legs, so I'll have to wear them high on my waist, or with heels, but that doesn't bother me. The legs are wide, and have a fun swish when I walk. The fabric seems like it'll hold up over time. The only issue I have is the tag that just inexplicably reads FASHION, and is placed pretty prominently on the front right waist area. My wife doesn't usually wear wide-legged pants, as they are typically unflattering or too long for her (she's 5'2"). These, though, were a great fit. They definitely are long on her such that she'll have to wear heels with them, but they will work well with the heels and heeled boots that she has. They fit her nicely in the waist and hips and taper out in a flattering manner. She said that they will be very flexible and incredibly easy to dress up. She's already found a crop jacket that will pair well with them, and also has several tops that would work. They are a bit heavy weight, so she probably won't wear them as much in the height of summer, but they'll be great for spring and fall. Read more
I have long legs and am short waisted. The medium is a tiny bit tight on my waist and doesn't have quite enough ease in the front (post 2 kids). The legs are cut a bit wide for me, and the length is fine with shoes on. (I'm 5'3".) The black is nice, and the material is on the thicker side, which I prefer for looking professional. I'll wear these pants to teach. The "fashion" tag on the front was easily removed, but it should have been left off entirely. A pretty nice pair of work pants. Read more
These are a high waisted pleated dress pant style. The color is not white and it's not beige it's somewhere in between, which I didn't think was possible. It is a bit odd. The waist fit perfect for my measurements. The hips are quite loose but I think that is what the style is supposed to look like. They are very high waisted. If I put my hands in my pockets my rear end looks better. These pants are light-weight so you can see through them a bit more like a silhouette, but not enough that I am worried about it. Finally pants that come in XS! These are super cute and very comfortable pants. I love the oversized leg and the true to size waist. Hits at the ankle and looks great with a mid crop. The only thing I don't like is the label in front that says "fashion" but I can live with it. They look really cute on and I've received many compliments. Flattering and comfortable. These pants look and fit as advertised EXCEPT that they are too long, almost too long on me. I ordered my usual size (small) and they fit well in the waist (and look really good) but are very long and almost touch the floor even with heels on. Despite being too long, I love how they look and fit. The fabric is very light and moves well. The only thing I didn't like was the superfluous, black "fashion" label sewn onto one of belt loops - I ended up taking a seam ripper to it and removing it completely.
