An amazing hair tool for a terrific price.

I wear a short Pixie style hair cut. This curling iron is perfect for short hair when you want to add a little curl or control a section of hair that is doing its own thing. Love it! Couldn't live without it! Very easy to use and it heats up quickly. It's very light weight and handles with ease. Read more

It’s not as hot as I expected, but very manageable!

I expected it to be a lot hotter, but for touch ups it works fine! Read more

Important..if your hair is fine this will not work

This does not have brushes instead it is plastic. Therefore it does not grab short fine hair. In trying to grasp the hair I burnt my fingers Read more

Poorly designed tip

The iron itself works well on my short hair, but the bristles slide out of the barrel. I have already lost one. The tip needs to be stationary. Also, the tip is not very cool and it rotates when I'm trying to hold it when turning the iron in my hair. Read more

Quality is down

Not sure what company is making this anymore since the name changed from Helen of Troy to Salon Editions, but the quality of the plastic has changed. And not for the better. I’ve used this hair curler for years, so I noticed the changes. In particular, the plastic tip at the end is very very loose now, so it spins around as you’re curling your hair. The result is that sections of the comb will fall out, which is a pain to re-insert them. I thought that the last one I ordered from Amazon was a fluke, so I tried to secure the tip with super glue. Didn’t work. When I ordered this one, I was hoping for the best— but it came the same way. So I will be returning it, and seeing if any beauty stores still have the original Helen of Troy model Read more

It is well made.

It’s a very good product, well made. I will keep it, but I need a smaller for my short, fine hair. Read more
