My Hella 500FF lights I bought came with those ugly, solid white covers. So, I either had to keep them on displaying that I had Hella lights that aren't on, or keep them off showing that I just have working lights. When these came in I was ectatic! Not only do they look amazing on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma, but there is no light obstruction from them. My bull bar is black, so they match-up looks sharp! They are made of a really heavy-duty plastic, too which is nice. They clipped on in two seconds and they stay on tight. I am very impressed with this product, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants their truck to stand out from the rest. Read more
Fit Hella 500 well but not too loose. So far, have been through an automatic wash once with no issues. Read more
The review title says it all. This thing was super easy to snap on, nothing breaking or snapping of the sort. I actually dropped it on the concrete with no issues. Seems well build to me, and it looks awesome on. Would definately recommond. For anyone worried about snapping the clips, best bet is to get the bottom on first so the two lower clips are on the light, then push up until you can finish pushing the top clip over the light. Took more time to wipe the bugs off the lamps than to slide these things on. Read more
I normally don't write a review but I felt that I had to because I was trying to look up a review on this item and couldn't find one anywhere besides Amazon. I think the product is great and looks good on my Hella 500FF. For those that complain about the cost being expensive and poor quality. These run you for $30 something dollars only. Hella could have added the cost on their 500 unit and you would have nothing to say. Instead they are giving you a option to purchase this grill or the clear cover one. Think about all the people buying the Piaa fog lamps that is the same grill cover material and similar specs with the lamp for +$200 - +$500. I mainly purchase the grill cover to protect stones from hitting my lamp. A $30 investment is better than the cost of replacement a crack lamp. In additional why I chose this over the stick on type is because I have HID on my Hella and the sticker would melt right off. This kit has enough room to prevent the glass from getting to hot and melting the covers. Read more
