I wanted a really long bathrobe because I am a delicate and picky princess who doesn’t want a draft ;-) It’s very soft and cozy and I love the cable knit look. I ordered a size up because i have larger hips and thighs, so i wanted to be sure my legs would have enough material to wrap up in. We decided my husband should give me a new bathrobe for Christmas, so after the usual hours of looking, I picked this one. The next day, it was sold out. Went for the second choice. Also sold out. So bought third choice, which turned out not to be warm. At all. That's a thing now, it seems, which makes no sense to me at all - does everyone live in centrally over-heated homes? Anyway, this became available, I bought it, sent the other one back. This eventually arrived, and it was worth the wait. It is warm. It's also larger than I actually need, so wraps nicely. And, a totally unexpected benefit, because the inside of the hood is white, I can find the top of it in dim light instead of flailing around trying to find an arm. It was too long; I got some safety pins, and discovered it was hard to pin because the fabric is so thick. (And the inside of the pockets are fuzzy.) So my wife who is five foot four inches tall liked it. It is very warm and comfortable. It goes down to part of her ankles. She likes the hood though it is big so heads up.Looks like it is made well. This robe is honestly a pleasant surprise.
