Love the fit at the foot- true to size w/ room for thick socks and my wide foot. The calf fit is slightly snug and although the neoprene fabric does flex I feel the width could be just a little wider at the top so users can fit jeans or work pants inside. Haven’t slipped on pavement in the rain and they flex enough to do gardening work while still providing some ankle support. They rinse off mud and muck like a dream if you do it right away. My one issue is that I like to roll down the neoprene cuff so it’s not so hot and sweaty while gardening but these boots have the sizing and other info printed so it’s very visible when they’re rolled down. (See photo) Would be better if printed in black or printed much lower where the inside cuff isn't visible when rolled down. It just looks a bit tacky when going into town in the rain. Another great pair of muck boots that are true to size, but since they do not come in half sizes, I recommend getting the size up. That was the reason for the loss of one star. They are lightweight but yet insulated enough to keep your feet warm in cold temperatures. They have held up well while being worn to muck animal stalls. the tread is good enough to give you traction in most conditions. they work great for what they are made to do. Read more
Boots are super comfy! They keep my feet warm during the cold rainy days. I live by a lake so owning a pair of good quality boots is a must and these boots do just that. I read the reviews before I purchased and many people recommended sizing up which I do agree with (I didn’t size up, I normally wear size 9-9.5 in a sneaker, depends on the brand, these boots did not have the option for half sizes so I took my chances and ordered a size 9….they fit, they are a bit snug but not uncomfortably snug, I prefer my boots to be a little snug and not loose/flip flop when you walk in them). After carefully reading the sizing information, I measured my feet and decided to order size 10, since I usually wear 9.5. When the boots arrived, I was immediately concerned with how tight the boots felt. I changed to thinner socks and wore the boots around the house, and was delighted to discover them loosen up, particularly the arch. I'm glad I didn't order the next size up, as that would have been too loose. I like the support and springy step in the boots, and had fun on the first round of my barn chores in them. UPDATE: Several weeks later and a number of wearings, and they are perfect, great for the rain, mud, snow, and barn muck. I love how much support they offer, and they keep my feet warm and dry.
