Sturdy. Durable and good sound!!

This is the best musical spoons I've bought so far. Sounds as great as the videos .Good grip, very sturdy, value for the price, and the weight is perfect. I've had metal spoons that the plastic split and the metal is rough on the hands. Thinking about buying a another one, but a different color! These are a big thumbs up!! Read more

Well made, good timbre & volume

I have considerable wood working experience and my opinion is that these are well made & are not just a novelty item. So, start with thiese beautiful & quality instruments & practice, practice, practice. Watch the videos and play along with your favorite tunes. I bought the large size and I love the effect. After I practice, practice, practice, I will be interested in getting the small or medium size - or both. Read more

Excellent Sound, Solid Durability, *But You Should Know...*

This is a great pair of wooden spoons. If you're on the market for high quality material, solid construction and great sound production--you're good to go with these. They are easy to learn and surprisingly versatile. NOTE: I bought two pairs and the resistance required to play the two are dramatically different. One was almost painful to play until after a few hours I finally managed to use pressure and a lot of breaking in to get it more tolerable. The other pair is on the totally opposite of the spectrum. It requires little to no pressure at all to clink the spoons together to produce sound. This pair is particularly comfortable to use. TL;DR -- Great Product, BUT if it requires too much force to play, return it for a new one! This should be a COMFORTABLE instrument, not a painful one. Read more

Learn to live the SPOONS again

If you’re playing with with a 5 man band or a group, the 12” spoons sound the best. They have a deeper sound. The smaller ones are just a high pitch clacker noise maker for football games but definitely NOT for music. Mine have been a cool addition to the band. Read more

Buy it and Try it!

I'm not coordinated enough to play the "spoons", but this thing was a blast to experiment with! Lots of variety and loud enough to help out at those local open mic sessions. Read more
