I bought this for a two-week trip in the Philippines, flying from the U.S. It worked perfectly for my needs: Philippine currency (which has a longer dimension than U.S. bills) fit in one of the long slot. Passport fit in the next slot. U.S. billfold and key ring in another slot. Coins in the front slot. (I didn't discover the coin net inside the big slot until the trip was over, but that could be used instead.) And smart phone in the back slot, though since I have a SmartSleeve on it, the end of it stuck out slightly, but it felt snug. I usually wore it around my neck, either just hanging down in front (when I was in a hurry), or slung around to the side (which was more comfortable). And the whole thing was small enough to shove into my shorts pocket when I was visiting some Philippine friends, so that I didn't have my wallet awkwardly hanging like a pendulum during a social visit. I used one like this on a European trip a few years ago, and it worked out beautifully. However that one wasn’t as nice as this one. In fact it was larger and I had to make my own chain so I could carry it around my next. I can tell this one is going to be perfect. It’s smaller so I can conceal it under my shirt for total protection. It has the perfect arrangement of pockets so I can carry, a couple of credit cards, my passport, money and even my iPhone. All important stuff right there on my chest for easy access and concealability. It looks to be well made and I really like the zipper hang tags. I bought this wallet for my trip to Italy. I couldn't be more happy with all aspects : 1. Perfect size and multiple zip-up pockets for cash, cards, coins. The passport fits in the largest pocket. 2. I love this neck pouch, but it's so much more than a travel accessory. I just returned from an international trip and I have no imminent trips planned, but this is perfect to keep essentials within easy reach, for example, if i'm using a backpack, or while at the gym, or if I just need to make a quick run to the store. I haven't used it yet, but I think it will work for documents - I was hoping my phone might fit in the back pocket but the strap wouldn't be strong enough. The purple color is vibrant to say the least. It look like you can fit quite a few documents in it comfortably which is the point. Looks like exactly what I need as I look to vacation in the land well known for pickpockets. The item looks sturdy and lightweight enough to wear around my neck. That should make it easy to carry.
