Good quality weights - stand could use improvement, but functions
This 150 lb. set arrived in 3 boxes over several days (big snowstorm across country during shipment). Shipping was $100, which sucks, but not unexpected with the weight (not easy to carry some of the boxes into the house... some may need to disassemble outside... but for me it was 5F and snowing). The weights seem very high quality and should last forever. The stand is less impressive, but still should be durable. Stand assembly took a bit of effort, but was aided with some of my own tools. My biggest beef with the stand is the prongs that suspend the weights are fairly narrow-set, so not really possible to get a firm grip with all 4 fingers to lift the weight off the stand. An inch wider would make a lot of difference. The spread of weights across the 5-weight set seem fine for my needs. I'm not a weight-lifter, I just want to use these in conjunction with a weight bench to stay toned. I still need to get into a routine, but I'm pretty sure this setup will work as I intended for the balance of my life (which, hopefully, is a number of decades). Read more
