True to form, this is going to cost you a second mortgage to purchase. The price not withstanding..it is a freakin' great blade and fork. The quality is easily one of the best I've seen in decades and the appearance as you carve in front of family and friends.....priceless. This set is stunning. The green handles are just beautiful and the feel in your hand is just as nice. Haven't used them yet, but can't see why they won't perform wonderfully as well. Already own Hexclad skillets, and love them as well. Quality products. Read more

Great edge, hate the handle
I agree with the other reviewers that this is a high quality knife and it has a great edge. But it did not have some high end features I would expect on a $200 set. For starters, the set came in 2 boxes. It should have come in 1 box as a set. Next, the knife had a cheesy blade cover- not reusable. Itshould have come with a nice slip on edge protector. A nice wood storage box would be inline with this price also. Lastly, the handle design and green wood with no rivets is low end. I think the handles totally take away from the high end features of the set. Everything else is top notch. I gave it 3 stars because at this price point the Damascus blade can’t be the only justification for the price. Just saying at this price point there are options and I would definitely look at them.
