These are considered a dupe for a name brand. I've never worn that specific brand but I can say I'm in love with this version! I usually buy cheap leggings from TJ maxx and I didn't know what I was missing! These are super soft and really comfortable! No digging in, no rolling down. And they have side pockets!! They have very light compression which is fine for my needs at the gym or just running errands. They fit true to size and are honestly so great that I've bought a couple pairs. They are comfy and look good for the most part, plus I like the color, but material is a bit thin and attracts a lot of lint! I've got thick thighs that chafe so the inner leg is already pilling after a month. I'm 5'3", 135 pounds and small fits well. The waistband has pros and cons - I like the more flattering look on my tummy without the elastic and I can hike/walk, do chores, work, etc. but I can't do yoga in these because it rolls down way to much and my muffin top hangs over and it feels awkward. I prefer the material and fit of yogalicious leggings, but these ones are still a decent option and I will still wear them. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Apple-shaped short ladies rejoice! These leggings flatter those of us who are prone to getting muffin tops from unforgiving waist bands of other leggings. The waist band has stretch and no stitching so it has the least potential to create dents in the waist area for those of us carrying some extra cookies from the holidays. I have another pair from a different brand with a similar stretch in the waistband but prefer this brand because the material feels more quality. I can get two days of wear from these where the other brand feels stretched out after one day. I wash on cold and gentle cycle (most washes) and line dry (every wash) so I can’t comment on shrinkage but the color has held up well. They are not see through in the color black. The pockets are a must-have in my opinion. I am 5’2” and the Workout Pro 7/8 leggings fit as full length leggings. I wouldn’t mind them a tad bit shorter but I don’t have to fold them under at the ankles like I do other brands. I wish the price were a little lower but when I’m hunting in the drawer for my favorite leggings and I’m disappointed that they are in the wash, I have decided to increase the number of pairs of this brand in the drawer.
