I got this specifically because it had sd card capabilities (I am not interested in a cloud storage subscription for house cam) and I was pleasantly surprised. The video quality is great, it's not grainy or laggy and the sound quality is certainly adequate. I got the camera to keep in my room because someone in my house has been stealing things when I'm not home. I haven't caught them yet but they haven't been back so it's a win-win. My only issue has been the battery life. I think because the camera is in a high traffic area, it's constantly active and it drains the battery within 24 hours. I keep it plugged in 24/7 now, which may not be good for it but I can't afford another or anything fancier. It does what I need and the accompanying app is super easy to use. I honestly would get it again. This would be a great camera for a baby's nursery or for pets if needed, as you can speak through it (that may the norm nowadays, though.
