This little detector is compact, lightweight, and very simple to use. It fits easily into my purse, and I love how discreet it looks—no one would ever guess what it is. It powers on with a single button and begins scanning immediately, no setup or apps needed. The detection seems accurate and responsive. I tested it around my home first, and it picked up small hidden camera lenses and other reflective surfaces just like it's supposed to. It’s sensitive enough to catch subtle signals of a really small device that was difficult to detect. I haven't received any false alarms. It works on both wired and wireless devices. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges, but is also easy to recharge anywhere because it uses a standard USB to micro USB (and also includes the charging cable). It’s sturdy, sleek, and feels like a premium product at a really affordable price. Honestly, I didn’t expect much from this little device—but it actually came through. Once I skimmed the instructions (yes, reading them helps), it was pretty easy to figure out. It’s small enough to toss in a backpack or keep in a drawer without it turning into a game of “Where did I put that thing?” I tested it on my indoor camera just to see if it could spot the lens, and boom—clear red dot, no guessing. What I thought would be a gimmick was actually fairly accurate and completely easy to use. This device's functionality is simple, and the two detection options (camera vs. transmitters) are very well designed. I was able to detect a wireless mouse, my phone, and wireless headphones (have to be pretty close). The camera detection was a little harder to achieve, as it could not illuminate the camera in some devices (although they were not active). It was accurate for security cameras and for webcams. Absolutely, I must have. Not only for the ladies or gentleman, but also for our children going to college for the in-laws that we do not trust this little device is honestly fabulous. It does attack. I set my phone up as a recording device. It beeps as soon as you swipe past it we know when we’re being watched And yes, sometimes we feel crazy cause we can’t find who’s watching us or where the bug is. this is your go to for that extra security for all of the parents that are sending our children to college yes, definitely my daughter. My son’s will have this without a doubt Dorm rooms apartments yeah our kids need this. No question asked… It’s definitely 100% a must. Note: for anyone living in apartment, we all know the companies that are coming in and spraying changing air filters fixing something that’s broke. I just got this, so I’m not sure how hidden a camera has to be. But I feel better knowing I can check for this in unfamiliar locations. It comes with a charging cord. It is somewhat compact and easy to fit in your bag or pocket. There is a red peephole to help you view any cameras. It also detects bugs or recording devices. I tested it near my phone and it detected that, so I’d say it will work. I also checked the camera on the tv. This is a nifty lil device. I would like to get a carrying case for it since I wouldn’t want to scratch it. It is a very nice quality. Peace of mind is worth a lot and this is worth it!. There are certain places I wouldn’t stay but with this that may now change. The way I see it, someone would be extremely bored watching a hidden camera trying to watch me, but it’s a creepy thought to think sone one you don’t know(or do) is spying on you. Read more
I was skeptical but it actually works like it's supposed to. In the "bug" mode it will pick up most anything with a transmitter in it (my router, my iPhone) when you get close to it. And in "camera" mode, it both lights up the red IR LEDs in my security cameras, and you can see them lit up. Nicely packaged in a small tough carrying box - works great! Read more
Very nicely made little gadget. I’ve only tested it at home so far but I was able to pick up the infrared from my security cameras. I’ll update once I use it at hotels and air bnb’s. Read more
