Comfortable, substantial work pants with good stretch—but noticeable thigh wrinkling

I ordered these GEKCM high-waist stretch work pants after recently losing weight and needing to refresh my work wardrobe—because who can’t use another pair of office pants? I ordered an XL, and the sizing feels consistent with other XL pants I own (as consistent as women’s sizing ever gets). The high waist sits at my natural waist, which I like, and feels comfortable and secure. They’re slightly snug through the hips and upper thighs, but that seems more related to my body shape than a problem with the sizing. Although they’re described as straight-leg pants, they read more like a wide-leg cut in person. The length works well for me at 5’6” with long legs, though shorter women may find them too long without hemming. The fabric feels cool and silky against the skin, with a nice amount of stretch. Sitting, walking, and bending are all easy, and they remained comfortable throughout the day. The fabric has a surprising amount of weight to it without being especially warm, which could go either way depending on your preferences. Personally, I wouldn’t pack these for a trip where traveling light is a priority. They arrived vacuum-sealed and extremely wrinkled, which initially concerned me. Hanging them didn’t help much, but after washing them on a delicate cycle, tumbling them in the dryer for about 15 minutes, and then hanging them to finish drying, they came out looking great. However, wrinkles develop fairly quickly at the tops of the thighs during wear, especially after sitting. It’s not sloppy-looking, but it is noticeable. Construction appears solid, with no obvious issues in stitching or finishing. The front pockets are generously sized and easily fit my phone, which I appreciate. The back pockets are small, but that’s typical for women’s pants and not something I rely on much anyway. There are a couple of downsides worth noting. The wider leg cut isn’t particularly flattering on me and makes me feel a bit stubby, and the fabric makes a noticeable rustling sound when walking, which I found a little strange. Overall, they’re a solid option for office wear, as long as you don’t mind the heavier fabric and some wrinkling through the thighs. Comfort is their strongest feature, even if they don’t stay perfectly crisp all day. Read more

Casual elastic waist pants

These pants are marketed as high waisted stretch work pants. They definitely are high waisted with an elastic waist. The fabric itself is also stretchy for a comfortable fit. The front pockets are fairly large and the pants also have large back pockets. At 5’3” I will need to take up the hem of these size large pants. I ordered a size large based on my normal pant size. If I were ordering them again I would order one size up. The stitching down the front of each leg is interesting and I don’t think I’ve seen it done quite this way before. It adds a bit of flare to the pants. The tag says machine wash cold. They will need to be line dried. Overall they are comfortable and appear to be well made and are a good value for the price. Very High Waisted with Permanent Front Seams.

These are interesting pants. Upon first inspecting them, I actually thought they felt like jogging pants. They felt mostly nylon. Keep in mind these are supposed to be work pants. These have very specific washing instructions. First, if you bulk dry clean your clothes, I would suggest tossing them in with your dry cleaning. Dry cleaning is the preferred method on the tag. You can machine wash them. Just make sure to turn them inside out, no bleach, and wash separately in cold water. Do not tumble dry. The reason behind this is the main portion of the fabric is Viscose-75. 2 percent. Viscose is made from recycled plastic bottles spun into a fine thread and woven into fabric. So throwing them in the dryer is a sure fire way to shrink them. With that being said I did iron them. I iron everything on high...lol But once ironed they felt more like work pants. When they say high waisted... THEY MEAN IT! These are very high waisted. That is no problem for me as I have a long torso. It might not work well with all figure types. Know your shape. They also have a permanent seam down the front of each leg. If you are not a fan of seams, you will not be happy with these. But what made me very happy was that they were long enough! Yay! I have long legs and often have a hard time with average length pants. They were very comfortable to wear and looked really nice with my Christmas sweater for our staff meeting. They are true to size. I ordered an XL and that is what I wear. I am going to give them 4 stars because of the tricky wash instructions. I am not a fan of taking clothes to the dry cleaners. Once I purchase a pair of pants, I don't want to keep paying for them. We will see how well they wash and hang dry. Read more

Lightweight, Thin, Breathable

I loved these stretchy work pants because they were extremely comfortable! They looked like regular professional dress pants without the discomfort. Designed with deep pockets that can easily hold your phone, keys, or cards. The beautiful brown color can easily pair with any color outfit and can be so versatile! Pair with flip flops and a cute tank top to dress it down or pair with kitten heels and a blazer to dress it up. Comfort all day while looking stylish! Made with quality material that was easy to clean and the elastic waist gives you that perfect fit. Great find, highly recommend! Read more

Looks like comfy pair of khaki's, recommend going up a size or 2!

I like the look more than I expected! 1. Style - This is what I liked the most. Actually more than I thought I did at first. It did not just look like another pair of khaki work pants, rather a little additional design with the line down the front. So bonus on a slightly different style. 2. Fit - I normally wear a size 8 or medium. I obtained a medium size in this case. Based on the pictures I expected the pants to be lose all over. But not only were these tight on the lights but also tight on the belly as well. They don't match the picture due to this if I were going by the size. Definitely not comfortable with tight leg and tummy restriction. 3. Value - Price is pretty typical for khaki office work pants. I have seen some more expensive and some less. So decent value on cost by itself, however I would recommend adjusting the size at least one maybe two. Read more
