It provides great support for my neck, and I donโt wake up with any stiffness. I had high hopes for this pillow. Unfortunately, after several days, the chemical smell was still there despite airing it out. I called the company and they told me I could wash and dry the pillow on the gentle cycle and it would get rid of the chemical smell and be able to be used right away. I asked them if they were sure it was okay to wash the pillow and they assured me it would be fine. Well, that was absolutely not the case. This whole experience has been a disaster. I washed the pillow on gentle and the pillow expanded to twice the size. It took me several minutes just to get it out of my washer. I have tried to dry this pillow many times. I have squeezed the pillow over and over again to drain the water out of it and let it sit out for days and put it in the dryer on various cycles and the water is still filling this pillow. It is completely unusable. I tried calling the company again today repeatedly and even left a voicemail, but no one picked up or called me back. Perhaps this pillow would have been great, but after this experience, I'm getting my money back and purchasing from a different company. So let this be your warning, do not wash this pillow! I donโt know why everyone thinks these pillows are so wonderful. I was very hopeful, but theyโre just a nice foam pillow with a dip in the middle and softer. They are well made with double covers that are stretchy. BUTโฆ (1) When you first get them and open them up, you have to let them sit flat in a well ventilated area. They have a very funky smell and that needs to dissipate (and it does) but it takes a full day for it to do it. (2) I put a protective cover on them plus a pillowcase. The stretchy fabric theyโre covered in is really soft and a bit slippery. (3) I think the concept of the dip in the middle for your neck and the higher edges around is a good idea, but once you lay on them, the arched edge that should fit right inside your neck space (and stay there) just disappears as you sleep - so it turns into a flat pillow over the course of the night. Middle of the night you have to wake up, spin the pillow around to the other side and then you have the arch again. (4) Because of the design, you canโt flip them over so youโll never get to the cold side. (5) If they could fix the fact that these flatten so fast while you sleep, this would be a great pillow. Engineering wise itโs goodโฆ but the structure of the pillow seems to be the wrong density. Not working for me and I returned them. Read more
